국문 초록

본 논문은 애도의 글쓰기가 공개적이고 공식적인 가족 서사를 보장한다면 고대 문인들의 가족에 대한 인식 내지 변화된 감정구조를 어느 정도 추론해낼 수 있을 것이라는 가정하에 기획되었다. 이는 일차적으로 애도 문학 변천의 한 단면을 탐색하는 작업이면서 당시 공동체가 소유했던 가족에 대한 감정구조의 실태 및 변화의 흐름을 구축하는 실마리가 될 수 있으리라 판단했기 때문이다. 연구 결과 고대 중국인들의 가족 서사는 탈관습의 성질을 강하게 드러내고 있음을 확인할 수 있었다. 비록 애도 시문은 죽음이 전제되는 면에서 그 고유의 특수성이 고려되어야 하지만, 글쓰기 활동을 통해 가족에 대한 언급을 공식화한 시도는 가족 구성원의 존재를 감추지 않고 나름의 방식을 통해 공개하려던 당시 문인들의 진전된 감정 구조가 반영된 것이라 볼 수 있다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to investigate the family configuration and the structure of altered feeling in ancient China, analyzing the family mourning shown in Tang Song dynasty’s poetry and prose. It is not only an analysis on the mourning-related literature works, but also is a way for understanding the family configuration in ancient China. The writing method concerning Tang Song dynasty’s mourning works can be categorized into three phases. The first phase is the lack of emotion control, which means liberation from oppression of the past. Departing from the past customs, those works pursue free emotional expression on their family. The second phase is to show pity and lamentation feeling about the past things. The experiences shared with the deceased were presented in detail as essential part of the past. The third phase is the expression of habitual lethargy and frustration. Most of them regarded the passing-away of family members as severe crack in their daily life. Thus they did not try to overcome their sadness intentionally. This kind of research results concerning the mourning poetry and prose of the Tang Song Dynasty reflects the structure of altered feeling in ancient china. Accordingly, it gives a valuable chance to re-evaluate Tang Song Dynasty’s mourning works.
