과정중심평가를 통한 수학교과 인성 함양 효과

국문 초록

본 연구는 과정중심평가가 학교현장에서 자연스럽게 도입되기 위해 과정중심평가와 기존 수행평가와의 공통점을 찾아보고 과정중심평가가 수학교과 인성 함양에 효과가 있음을 알아보고자 함이 목적이다. 선행연구를 분석하여 본 연구에서는 과정중심평가의 의미를 다양한 수행과제 및 평가방법을 도입하여 수업 중 실시하며 즉각적인 피드백을 통해 학생들의 성장 및 수업의 질을 향상시킬 수 있는 평가로 정의하였으며, 수학교과인성이란 수학수업시간에 쉽게 발현되고 함양되기 쉬운 인성요인을 뜻한다. 이에, 기하와 벡터 과목을 중심으로 과정중심평가의 실현 가능성에 대해 사례를 제시하고, 과정중심평가를 통한 수학교과 인성 함양에 효과가 있는지 알아보고자 하였다. 수학교과인성함양을 꾀하는 4가지의 과정중심평가(수학실험, 논리, 증명, 의사소통)을 인문계 고등학교 3학년 101명을 대상으로 2019년 3월부터 6월까지 수행한 후 수학교과 인성검사지를 활용하여 지수를 측정하였다. 대응변인 t-검정을 사용하여 결과를 분석한 결과 본 연구에서 실시한 과정중심평가는 수학교과 인성함양에 유의미한 효과가 있음이 나타났다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to find the commonality between process-based evaluation and existing performance evaluation, and to find out that process-based evaluation is effective for the development of character of school mathematics. By analyzing the previous research, this study defined the meaning of process-based evaluation as an evaluation that can improve students' growth and quality of class through immediate feedback by introducing various performance tasks and evaluation methods. character of school mathematics refers to personality factors that are easily expressed and cultivated during math classes. Therefore, this study presented examples of the feasibility of process-based evaluation, focusing on geometry and vector subjects, and examined the effectiveness of mathematics and character development through process-based evaluation. Four course-based assessments (math experiments, logic, proof, and communication) aimed at cultivating character of school mathematics were conducted from March to June 2019 for the third year of the high school. The index was measured. Analysis of the results using the corresponding variable t-test showed that the process-based evaluation in this study had a significant effect on character of school mathematics development.
