국문 초록

본 연구는 ‘라이프 필스 굿(life feels good)’에 대한 영화분석과 실존 공간으로서 주거 본질을 주요 연구 대상으로 하는 현상학적 접근을 결합하여 중증 뇌성마비 장애인 주인공 마테우스의 주거의미(홈)와 주거선택의 이유를 분석하였다. 구체적으로 영화분석에 반 매넌(van Manen)의 해석학적 현상학 분석 방법을 활용하였다. 분석결과 마테우스 집에서의 홈 체험의 본질적 주제는 ‘제멋대로 놀고 공부할 수 있는 편안한 안전, 보호의 장소(공간성)’, ‘몸의 친밀성(신체성)’, ‘최선의 사랑을 받는 특별한 아이(관계성)’, ‘나의 시간은 좋을 것이다(시간성)’로 도출되었다. 그리고 마테우스가 기존의 지적장애인 입소 거주시설을 정착지로 최종 선택한 이유에는 ‘기본영토의 소유자 변경’, ‘몸의 변화’, ‘사람에 대한 생각의 성장’, ‘동료장애인, 직원과의 친밀한 관계의 생성을 통한 미래 낙관성’, ‘시설의 마테우스에 대한 특별한 배려’, ‘형과의 지속적 가족 연결’이 포함되었다. 이 같은 분석결과에 근거하여 함의와 제언을 제시하였다.

영문 초록

This study analyzed the meaning of housing(home) and the reason for the choice of main character Mateusz, a severely disabled person with cerebral palsy, by combining a movie analysis of life feels good and a phenomenological approach that focuses on the essence of dwelling as an existential space. Specifically, Van Manen's hermeneutic phenomenological analysis method was used in movie. In the analysis results, the essential themes derived from the home experience at Mateusz' house include comfortable safety where you can play and study as you please, a place of protection (spatiality), intimacy of the body (corporality), a special child who receives the best love(ralationality), and my time will be good (temporality). And as the reasons why Mateusz finally chose the existing residential facility for the intellectually disabled people as a settlement include change of the owner of the primary territory, changes in the body, growth in thinking about people, optimism for the future through the creation of close relationships with the fellow disabled, employees, the facility's special consideration for Mateusz, and continuous ties with the elder brother. Based on these analysis results, this study presented implications and suggestions.
