충청지역 중고제 판소리의 역사성과 지역성

국문 초록

본 연구는 충청지역에 전승된 중고제 판소리의 역사를 살피고, 현장 답사를 통해 현재의 의미를 찾는 것이 목적이었다. 이를 위해 판소리사적으로 중요한 인물들을 살피고 충청지역 판소리의 지역적 특성을 논의하였다. 본 연구에서 이루어진 내용은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 충청도의 판소리적 지향과 특성을 살폈다. 판소리사에 기록된 경기도 명창과 충청도 명창의 차이점을 바탕으로 음악적 특성을 알아보았다. 둘째, 충청지역 출신으로 크게 활약한 중고제 명창인 고수관, 심정순,이동백, 김창룡을 중심으로 그들이 활약했던 내용을 알아보고 현장 답사를통해 얻은 정보를 실었다. 셋째, 중고제 소리는 경기도와 충청도 양도간에서 전승된 소리이지만세부적으로 살펴보면 다르다. 충청지역은 경기소리권이 있고 전라소리권이 있어서 크게 두 지역을 중심으로 전승되고 있다. 즉 내포권과 금강권으로 나누어지는 소리가 있음을 알아보았다. 넷째, 전승되는 중고제 소리의 사설을 비교하여 중고제는 사설이나 음악이 고정되지 않아 유동성있게 전승되었음을 밝혔다. 이상의 연구 결과는 판소리사와 관련하여 충청지역 특유의 판소리 전승양상을 밝혀내었다는 점에서 의미가 있다.

영문 초록

The purpose of the study is to find present meanings through fieldwork and examine the history of Junggoje pansori that has been passed down in the in the Chungcheong region. For this, it was examined that the significant people in the pansori history and discussed regional characteristics of in the Chungcheong-do region. The contents researched in this study as follows:First, it was examined that the aim and characteristics of pansori in Chungcheong-do. It was investigated that the musical characteristics based on the differences between mastersingers of Gyeonggi-do and mastersingers of Chungcheong-do registered in the pansori history. Second, it was investigated that the contents of activities focused on Junggoje mastersingers such as Go, Su-Gwan, Shim, Jeong-Sun, Lee,Dong-Baek, and Kim, Chang-Ryong who was borned in the Chungcheong region and performed brilliant exploits, and new information got through fieldwork was put in. Third, Junggoje pansori is the pansori passed down between two provinces of Gyeonggi-do and Chungcheong-do, but they are different by examining in details. There are Gyeonggi pansori area and Jeolla pansori area in Chungcheong region, so it has been passed down focused on two areas largely. Therefore, it was investigated that there are pansori is divided into Naepo area and Geumgang area. Fourth, it was revealed that Junggoje was passed down with liquidity for lyrics or music of pansori were not fixed by examining lyrics of Junggoje pansori passed down. Above research results is significant that it was revealed the own aspects of pansori transmission of Chungcheong region.
