비교과활동 프로그램 참여가 사회복지전공 대학생의 핵심역량에 미치는 효과

국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 사회복지전공 학생들이 정규교과과정 이외에 비교과 활동으로 생명존중 교육 강사양성프로그램에 참여한 후 대학생 핵심역량의 변화를 살펴보는 것이다. 전문대학 사회복지전공 대학생 20명을 대상으로 사전 사후 실험설계를 사용하였으며, 연구 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 생명존중 교육 강사양성 교육프로그램에 참여한 대학생의 핵심역량이 프로그램 실시전 보다 실시 후에 모두 증가하여 대학생 핵심역량을 높이는 데 효과가 있었다. 둘째, 비교과 활동 운영에서 이론교육만 참여한 것보다 이론교육과 현장강의 실습을 같이 한 경우에 핵심역량 전체 평균과 하위영역 모두에서 평균 점수가 더 높았다. 이를 토대로 사회복지 전공 학생을 위한 다양한 비교과 활동 프로그램의 개발과 실행 및 방식에 대하여 제안하였다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to examine the changes in core competencies of social work majors after they participated in a life respect education instructor training program as a extracurricular activity in addition to the regular curriculum. A pretest-posttest experimental design was used with 20 undergraduate social work majors at a community college, and the results of the study were as follows. First, the core competencies of university students who participated in the life-respect education instructor training program increased from before to after the program, indicating that the program was effective in enhancing the core competencies of university students. Second, the mean scores of the core competencies were higher in both the overall mean and sub-scores of the core competencies when theoretical training and on-site lecture practice were combined than when only theoretical training was provided in the comparison activity. Based on these findings, suggestions were made for the development, implementation, and methods of various co-curricular programs for social work students.
