초등학교 교육과정에서의 상담활동 수업 개선 방안

국문 초록

연구목적 본 연구는 초등학교 교육과정(창의적 체험활동)에서 운영되고 있는 상담활동 수업의 운영 실태를파악하고 교육과정에서의 상담활동 수업이 원활히 운영될 수 있는 방안을 모색하는 데 목적이 있다. 연구방법 본 연구는 서울 초등 전문상담교사 144명을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였고 초등 전문상담교사 8명, 학교관리자(교감) 4명, 일반 초등교사 5명을 대상으로 FGI를 실시하였다. 연구결과 분석 결과, 초등학교 상담활동 수업은 1) 학생을 이해하는 데 도움이 되는 활동이었다. 2) 대부분 강의식 수업으로 운영되고 있는 상담활동 수업은 전문상담교사에게 업무부담을 주어 이로 인해 본연의 업무인 '상담'을 어렵게 하고 있었다. 3) 교육과정에서 상담활동 수업이 원활히 운영되기 위해서는 전문상담교사의 처우 개선 및 학교상담 교육과정 마련 등 제도적 보완이 필요하다. 결론 연구결과를 바탕으로 본 연구는 초등학교 교육과정 (창의적 체험활동)에서의 원활한 상담활동 수업운영을 위한 정책 방안을 제안하였다.

영문 초록

Purpose: This study aimed to identify the operation status of counseling activity classes operatedin the elementary school curriculum (creative experience activities) and to find ways to smoothly operatecounseling activity classes in the curriculum. Methods: An online survey was conducted with 144 elementary school counselors in Seoul, andtwo focus group interviews with 17 participants including eight school counselors, four schooladministrators, and five elementary school teachers. Results: As a result of the analysis, elementary school counseling activity classes were 1) activitiesthat helped students understand; 2) Counseling activity classes, which are mostly operated aslecture-style classes, put a burden on professional counselors, making it difficult to “consult” theiroriginal work; and 3) In order for counseling activities classes to operate smoothly in the curriculum,institutional supplementation is required, such as improving the treatment of professional counselorsand preparing a school counseling curriculum. Conclusion: Based on the results of the study, a proposed policy plan for the smooth operation ofcounseling activities classes in the elementary school curriculum (creative experience activities) wasdetailed.
