텍스트 마이닝 기법을 활용한 학계, 산업계, 일반대중의 블록체인에 대한 인식 비교

국문 초록

블록체인 기술의 잠재적 가치에 대한 이해 관계자들의 관심이 늘어나고 있다. 효과적인 블록체인 산업화 정책을 만들기 위해 블록체인 기술의 학술 연구의 흐름, 비즈니스 적용 가능 영역, 이용자가 체감하는 성과를 정리하는 것이 필요하다. 본 연구는 텍스트 마이닝 기법을 활용하여 블록체인에 대해 학계, 산업계 및 일반 대중의 의견들을 종합함으로써 블록체인 기술의 세 가지 산업화 전략 방향을 도출하였다. 단어 출현빈도 분석, 키워드 추출, 감성 분석을 진행하고 분석 결과를 해석하였다. 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 학계에서는 가상화폐뿐만 아니라 거래, 교육, 금융, 개인정보 보호까지 연구의 영역을 확대하고 있다. 감성 분석 결과, 학계는 다른 관점들에 비해 중립적 의견이 가장 크다. 산업계에서는 응용서비스 계발, 서비스 디자인, 사례 발굴 및 사업화에 대한 단어들이 가장 많이 언급된다. 투명성 향상을 지원하는 비즈니스 모델, 글로벌 물류 체인, 간편 결제, 신원 인증과 같은 이슈들이 자주 언급된다. 감성 분석 결과, 산업계는 높은 시장의 불확실성으로 인해 다른 관점들에 비해 가장 부정적인 것으로 나타났다. 일반 대중들은 비트코인에 대한 언급이 두드러진다. 최근 비트코인의 가격 급등락, 거래소의 업무처리 미숙 및 해킹 피해 등이 이슈가 되고 있다. 감성 분석 결과, 일반 대중들은 소폭 부정적인 것으로 나타났다. 이 결과를 바탕으로, 이 연구는 1) 학계, 산업계, 일반 대중 및 정부 등 다양한 이해관계자들이 모여서 이슈들에 대해 함께 토론하는 협의 위원회를 구성할 것, 2) 정부 주도의 시범사업 추진을 통해 성공 사례를 발굴할 것, 3) 일반인도 체감할 수 있은 생활 밀착형 서비스들을 개발할 것을 제안한다. 이 연구는 블록체인 기술의 산업화에 대한 방향을 제시하는데 기여할 수 있다.

영문 초록

Stakeholders pay attention to the potential value of blockchain technology. To make the effective blockchain industrialization policy, this study should organize the findings of academic studies, the applicable business areas in industry, and performances of blockchain technology felt by users. This study challenged to derive three directions of blockchain technology industrialization policy by synthesizing the opinions of academia, companies, and users on blockchain technology using text mining techniques. Word frequency analysis, keyword extraction analysis, and sentiment analysis were conducted, and political implications were derived. Academics expand the research scope from the crypto-currency to commerce, education, finance and privacy protection. Sentiment analysis result shows that the neutral opinion is the overwhelming among the three perspectives. Industry frequently mentioned blockchain application development, service design, in-depth case study, and commercialization. Business model to support greater transparency, global logistics chains, simple payments method, and digital identity authentication are frequently mentioned issues. Sentiment analysis result shows that the industry kept the most negative stance among the three perspectives, reflecting the high market uncertainty. The general public focused on crypto-currency. Bitcoin prices have soared, and crypto-currency exchanges' incompetence not to prevent hacking accidents has been issued. Sentiment analysis results show that the general public is the slightly negative among three perspectives. Based on these results, the study proposes 1) forming a consultative committee where various stakeholders, including the government, academia, businesses, and the general public, 2) easing regulations, discovering success cases through government-led pilot projects, and 3) developing life-friendly services that the general public can use it in their daily life. This study can contribute to making the blockchain technology industrialization policy.
