아동기 심리적 외상이 청소년기 불안 및 우울 증상에 미치는 영향 : 예비연구

국문 초록

연구목적 : 본 연구의 목적은 아동기 외상경험이 청소년기 적응에 미치는 영향을 알아보는 것이고 특히 우울과 불안에 대해 검토하였다. 방 법 : 100명의 서울 소재 고등학교 재학 중인 일반청소년에게 자신의 아동기에 대한 아동기 외상 질문지(Childhood Trauma Questionnaire：이하 CTQ)를 작성하게 하였고 학대 유형별로 우울, 불안 척도와의 연관성을 비교 검토 하였다. 결 과 : 모든 학대 유형에서 일반 청소년이 보고한 CTQ 중에 정서방임이 청소년기 우울, 불안에 상당한 영향을 미치는 것으로 보였고 정서학대가 청소년기 불안에도 통계적으로 유의미한 연관성을 보이는 것으로 확인되었다. 결 론 : 아동기 정서방임, 정서학대를 경험한 청소년들에게 우울감, 불안감이 상승하였고 따라서 청소년기 적응 수준에 미치는 영향을 알수 있었다.

영문 초록

Objective : The purpose of this study was to investigate whether childhood trauma has an influence on adolescent adaptation, especially depression and anxiety. Methods : The data were collected from high school students in Seoul, and 100 students completed the Childhood Trauma Questionnaire (CTQ). Using stepwise regression analyses, we determined the correlation between each type of child-abuse and scores on a depression and anxiety scale. Results : Adolescents who participated in this survey are 15 to 19 years old. The proportions of boys (89.9%) were higher than girls (10.1%). Emotional abuse was the highest average score, but sexual abuse was the lowest. Consistent with our expectations, correlation analyses indicated the more childhood psychological trauma was associated with the higher score on adolescent depression and anxiety. Also, emotional neglect and emotional abuse showed statistically significant associations with depression and anxiety. Conclusion : Among high school students in Seoul who completed this survey, adolescents who experienced emotional neglect and emotional abuse during childhood scored higher on scales for depression and anxiety. In conclusion, these findings suggest that, perceived childhood emotional abuse affects the level of adaptation in adolescents.
