우울장애의 유병률과 관련요인들

국문 초록

연구목적： 이 연구는 Korean Epidemiologic Catchment Area(KECA) 조사자료를 사용하여 국내 지역사회에서 전국적 규모로 주요우울 장애와 기분부전장애의 유병률과 관련요인들을 분석하였다. 방 법： 2001년 KECA 조사에 응답한 만 18세 이상 65세 미만의 6,275명을 대상으로 하였다. Korean-Composite International Diagnostic Interview version 2.1(K-CIDI)을 사용해 유병률과 관련요인들을 구하였다. 결 과： 주요우울장애의 유병률은 4.3%/1.6%/1.1%(평생/12개월/1개월)이었다. 주요우울장애의 평균 발병연령은 32.6세이었다. 기분 부전장애의 유병률은 0.5%/0.4%/0.3%(평생/12개월/1개월)이었다. 기분부전장애의 평균 발병연령은 35.8세이었다. 주요우울장 애의 유의한 관련요인으로 여성, 무직, 50~59세의 연령, 이혼/별거/사별, 농촌거주, 최근 코호트가 관찰되었다. 기분부전장애의 유의한 관련요인은 여성이었다. 결 론： 주요우울장애의 유병율은 증가하는 것처럼 보인다. 농촌거주자와 50대가 주요우울장애에 취약한 것은 다른 나라의 기존 우울장 애연구들과 다른 결과이다.

영문 초록

Objectives：This study was intended to examine the prevalence and correlates of major depressive disorder and dysthymic disorder in a nationwide community sample of Korean adults using data from the Korean Epidemiologic Catchment Area (KECA) study. Methods：Data were derived from 6,275 household residents over 18 to 64 years of age who responded to KECA survey in 2001. Prevalence and correlates were estimated using Korean-Composite International Diagnostic Interview version 2.1 (K-CIDI). Results：The overall weighted prevalence of major depressive disorder was 4.3%/1.6%/1.1% (lifetime/12 months/1 month). Mean onset age of major depressive disorder was 32.6 years old. The overall weighted prevalence of dysthymic disorder was 0.5%/0.4%/0.3% (lifetime/12 months/1 month). Mean onset age of dysthymic disorder was 35.8 years old. The significant correlates of major depressive disorder were female, being unemployed, 50-59 years of age, disrupted marriage, rural habitats, and recent cohorts. That of dysthymic disorder was female only. Conclusion：The prevalence of major depressive disorder may be increasing. And it is different from other countries that rural habitats and fifties are vulnerable to major depressive disorder.
