국문 초록

- 강동구의 꿈미소는 타 지자체에서는 찾아보기 힘든 독자적 모델로써 관내 구립 경로당을 활용, 어르신 세대와 아동·청소년 세대가 효율적으로 공간을 공유하고 그 속에서 소통하여 세대 공감을 추진하고 있다. - ‘강동구 꿈미소’ 사업은 모든 정책에서의 건강을(Health in All Policies, HiAP) 실현하기 위한건강도시 강동 중점추진 64개 사업 중 하나인 경로당 공유사업이다. 아동‧청소년의 건강한 성장과 강동구 주민 모두가 건강한 삶을 살 수 있도록 사업 추진 부서에 대해 건강도시 관련 컨설팅을시행하고, 추진과정을 모니터링하여 관리하고 있다. - 꿈미소는 월 1회 ‘꿈꾸다’란 자치회의를 통해 희망하는 문화, 체육 등 프로그램에 대한 안건을 제시하며, ‘꿈쟁이’란 자치위원회를 통해 제시한 안건이 진행될 수 있게 프로그램을 기획한다는 특징을가져 다른 아동‧청소년 시설과 달리 이용자 주도형 공간을 확립하였다.

영문 초록

The Gangdong-gu Dream Smile project is an innovative initiative that was developed based on the input of residents in the community. The goal of the project is to support the healthy growth of children and address any gaps in care by providing a dedicated space for children and youth activities at senior centres after hours. This project is an excellent example of how private resources can be leveraged to create a child-friendly and healthy city. The project was developed with the active participation of local residents and the community. However, there were some challenges in securing facilities due to objections from the senior centres. Nevertheless, through extensive engagement and consultation, such as providing briefings to residents, improving the internal environment, and collecting feedback, the project was able to garner support from seniors, children’s Guild Movement Group, local child welfare experts and activists, and local residents. Additionally, the project established a user-led space for children and youth, which sets it apart from other facilities. Overall, the Gangdong-gu Dream Smile project is an excellent example of community-driven innovation that promotes healthy growth and wellbeing of children. The project’s success was made possible through collaboration and engagement with the local community, and it serves as a model for other communities looking to create child-friendly and healthy spaces.
