남한과 북한의 고등학교 1학년 수학 교과서 비교

국문 초록

최근 남한과 북한의 수학교육 영역에서의 교류협력 방안에 대한 관심이 높아지고 있다. 본 연구에서는 최신 교육과정인 남한의 2015 수학과 교육과정과 북한의 2013 수학과 교수요강에 따른 고등학교 1학년 수학 교과서를 비교분석하였다. 교과서 비교분석은 내용 영역과 단원의 분포, 단원의 구성 요소와 구성 내용의 측면에서 이루어졌다. 내용 영역 분포를 비교한 결과, 남한과 북한의 교과서는 각 영역의 비중에서는 차이가 있었지만, 수와 연산, 문자와 식, 기하, 함수, 확률과 통계 등의 다섯 가지 내용 영역을 모두 포함하고 있었다. 단원 구성에 있어서, 남한과 북한의 교과서는 유사한 역할을 하는 단원 구성 요소들을 공통적으로 포함하고 있었다. 그러나 대부분의 단원 구성 요소에서, 남한 교과서가 북한 교과서보다 더 많은 개수의 과제나 자료들을 포함하고 있었으며, 더욱 다양한 소재를 활용하여 깊이있는 수준으로 제시하고 있는 것으로 나타났다.

영문 초록

Recently, there has been a growing interest in the exchanges and cooperations in the field of mathematics education between South Korea and North Korea. In this study, we compared and analyzed South and North Korean high school first-year mathematics textbooks based on the 2015 Mathematics Curriculum of South Korea and the 2013 Mathematics Gyosuyogang(Curriculum) of North Korea. The comparative analysis of the textbooks in this study was done in terms of the distribution of content areas and units, and the components and contents of units. As a result of comparing the distribution of content areas, the textbooks of South and North Korea differ in the proportion of each area, but they include all five content areas such as numbers and operations, letters and expressions, geometry, functions, probability and statistics. In the aspect of compositions of the unit, the textbooks of South and North Korea commonly contain the components playing similar roles. However, in most unit components, South Korean textbook contains more tasks and materials than North Korean textbooks, with using a wider range of materials and presenting in more depth.
