국문 초록

본 연구는 한국에 거주하는 외국인의 자산투자 현황 및 선호에 영향을 주는 요인과 외국인들간의 차이점에 대해 실증분석을 통해 살펴보고자 하였다. 연구는 조사시점 현재 한국에 거주하는 외국인을 대상으로 설문을 실시하여 진행하였으며, SPSS 23.0 통계패키지를 활용하여 기술통계 및 회귀분석을 통해 연구과제를 검증하고자 하였다. 본 연구의 분석결과를 정리하면 다음과 같다. 외국인들은 한국의 개별적인 부동산 및 금융시장에 대해 평균보다 다소 낮게 평가하고 있으며, 자국과 비교해서도 투자가 크게 매력적이지 않다고 판단하는 것으로 나타났으며, 한국경제 성장에 대해서는 긍정적으로 판단하고 있는 것으로 조사되었다. 한국의 부동산 자산 중에는 주거용을 선호하고, 금융자산에서는 예금/적금 및 주식/펀드의 선호도가 비슷하게 나타났다. 부동산과 금융자산의 선택에서는 순자산과 부채가 증가할 때 금융보다 부동산을 선호하는 경향이 있는 것으로 나타났다. 더하여 설문에 응답한 많은 외국인이 부동산에 대한 관심이 높았으며 제약을 느끼는 부분이 많은 것으로 조사되었다. 본 연구결과는 한국에 거주하는 외국인을 위한 정책 수립 및 서비스 제공을 위한 기초자료로 활용될 수 있기를 기대한다.

영문 초록

This study tried to examine the factors that affect the asset investment status and preference for foreigners residing in Korea and the differences between foreigners through empirical analysis. The study was conducted by surveying foreigners residing in Korea at the time of the survey, and the research project was verified through descriptive statistics and regression analysis using the SPSS 23.0 statistical package. The analysis results of this study are summarized as follows. Foreigners in Korea evaluated the prospect of individual real estate and financial markets in Korea and the preference of the Korean market compared to their home countries below moderate. However, they evaluate the economic growth of Korea as more than moderate. Among real estate assets in Korea, foreigners prefer residential use, and in financial assets, preferences for deposits/installment savings and stocks/funds were similar. In the choice of real estate and financial assets, It was found that there was a tendency to prefer real estate over finance when net assets and liabilities increased. In addition, it was found that many foreigners who responded to the survey showed high interest in real estate, at the same time felt many restrictions. It is expected that the results of this study can be used as basic data for policy establishment and service provision for foreigners residing in Korea.
