영문 초록

There is a ubiquitous custom of “walking bridge” in the Dragon Boat Festival in south west Zhejiang Province and northeast Fujian Province. Covering historic, religious, folk and artistic meaning, “walking bridge” is a traditional ritual which entertains the immortal and the human being viasinging, dancing and sacrifices in the lounge bridges. Residing in the places with large numbers of the lounge bridges and fully aware of the importance the bridges play in their life, people involved usually, through the activity of “walking the three lounge bridges” during the festival, are eager to place their good wishes to the individuals, the families, and the entire village and explore the vital and special meaning of life as well.
