국문 초록

연구목적: 본 연구는 한국 대학생의 진로만족에 영향을 미치는 요인을 탐색하고자 진로결정수준과 진로만족의 관계에서 사회적지지의 매개효과를 확인하고자 하였다. 연구방법: 이를 위해 전국의 4년제 대학 294명의 대학생을 대상으로 그들의 진로결정수준, 사회적지지, 진로만족 정도를 측정하였다. 수집된 자료는 진로결정수준과 진로만족 간의 관계에서 사회적지지의 매개효과를 연구하기 위해 위계적 중다회귀분석으로 분석되었고, Baron과 Kenny(1986)의 매개효과 검증 방법과 Sobel Test를 사용하였다. 연구결과: 첫째, 진로결정수준, 사회적지지, 진로만족 세 변인 간의 관계에서 모두 유의미한 정적상관이 나타났다. 또한, 대학생의 인구통계학적 변인(성별, 나이, 학년, 전공계열)을 통제했을 때, 진로결정수준과 진로만족의 관계에서 사회적지지의 부분매개효과가 나타났다. 학술적 기여: 진로결정수준이 사회적지지를 매개로 진로상담 및 교육의 성과변인인 진로만족에 직간접적인 영향을 미치는 것을 확인하였고, 사회인지진로이론의 진로만족모형 일부 경로를 검증하였다는 데 의의가 있다. 또한, 상담 실제에서 한국 대학생의 진로만족감을 높이기 위해서는 그들의 진로결정수준을 높이는 것이 중요할 뿐 아니라 적절한 사회적지지 제공을 통해 진로만족감을 높이는 교육 프로그램이나 전략을 수립하는 것이 효과적임을 나타냈다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to explore the effect of social support on the relationship between career decision level and career satisfaction of Korean college students. For this aim, 294 college students participated in this study and their career decision levels, career satisfaction, and social support were assessed. Collected data was analyzed with hierarchical multivariate analysis. Baron and Kenny(1986)’s mediation test procedure and Sobel test were employed to test mediational effect of social support. As results, there were significant and positive relationships among career decision level, social support, and career satisfaction. It means that high level of career decision level would be able to lead high level of career satisfaction as well as social support. Moreover, there was mediational effect of social support on the relationship between career decision level and career satisfaction. In sum, for promoting Korean college students’ career satisfaction, it would be important to emphasize increasing effective social support in addition to focus on their career decision level.
