국문 초록

본 연구는 정신장애인 연극단 활동 경험에 관한 연구로 정신장애인 연극단 활동을 수행하면서 경험하는 것들을 보다 풍부하고 구체적으로 이해하는 데 목적이 있다. 연구를 위하여 정신장애인 연극단 단원 8명을 대상으로 심층면접을 진행하였다. 면담자료를 Giorgi의 현상학적 연구방법을 사용하여 분석한 결과, 총 9개의 구성요소와 24개의 하위구성요소로 도출되었고 다시 3개의 범주로 나누었다. 이 세 가지 범주는 「연극, 그들의 삶에 생기를 불어넣다」,「부담과 불안으로 머뭇거리다」, 「성숙해지는 나」이다. 연구참여자는 열악한 현실에서도 신념을 가지고 실천하려 노력하는 심리적 역량을 갖추고, 작은 것이지만 보람을 찾고 일상의 소소함의 행복을 느끼는 정신장애인 연극단 참여자의 긍정성은 스스로의 동기를 강화시키고 성숙해지는 힘이 되는 것으로 나타났다. 따라서 본 연구는 당사자 입장에서 생생한 경험을 통해 확인한 연구결과를 토대로 지역사회 정신장애인에게 있어 문화예술의 적극적인 활동이 정신장애인의 정신사회재활과 회복탄력성 제고에 의미가 있음에 대한 기초자료를 제시해 줄 수 있을 것이다.

영문 초록

This study is a study on the experience of acting in a theater group for the mentally disabled. For the study, in-depth interviews were conducted with 8 members of a theater troupe with mental disabilities. As a result of analyzing the interview data using Giorgi's phenomenological research method, a total of 9 components and 24 subcomponents were derived, which were further divided into 3 categories. These three categories are 「Theatre, bringing their lives to life」, 「I am hesitating with burden and anxiety」, and 「I am becoming mature」. It was found that the positivity of the participants in the theater group with mental disorders, who have the psychological capacity to try to practice with belief even in the harsh realities, find reward for small things, and feel the happiness of everyday small things, strengthen their motivation and help them to mature . Therefore, this study can provide basic data on the significance of active cultural and artistic activities in the psychosocial rehabilitation and resilience of the mentally disabled for the mentally disabled in the community based on the research results confirmed through vivid experience from the perspective of the person concerned.
