대학생의 결혼관에 대한 인식 연구

국문 초록

연구목적: 본 연구의 목적은 대학생의 결혼관과 하위요인 ‘정서적 안정’, ‘결혼조건’, ‘결혼유지’, 그리고 ‘결혼제도’에 대한 인식이 어떠한지 알아보는 것이고, 대학에서 바람직한결혼관을 갖도록 교육하기 위한 기초 자료로서의 의미를 두고 있다. 연구방법: 목적을 달성하기 위한 연구방법은 2020년 11월 9일∼11월 27일까지 서울의 A대학에 재학 중인 대학생 114명을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였다. 연구 분석은 연구대상의 특성을 살펴보기 위해 빈도분석, 백분율 분석과 ANOVA 분석을 실시하였다. 연구결과: 대학생의 결혼관 하위요인 ‘정서적 안정’은 남학생이 수용적, 긍정적, 전통적,보수적으로 인식하였고, 여학생은 결혼에 대해 덜 긍정적으로 인식하였다. 이는 여학생들의 사회적 가치관, 여성으로서의 자아 욕구, 출산과 육아, 경제적 부담 등 다양한 요인으로 인해 실제적으로 결혼에 대해 부정적으로 생각하는 것이라고 할 수 있다. 또한 3학년이 정서적 안정이 높은 것은 대인관계, 연예경험, 교육경험 등의 영향이나 연령이 증가할수록 보수적인 결혼관을 갖는다는 연구결과와 같다. 따라서 대학교육에서 남학생들에게는 결혼에 대한 남녀의 인식의 차이와 여학생들이 갖는 결혼에 대한 부정적 인식을긍정적으로 변화시킬 수 있도록 도울 수 있는 방안 마련을 위한 교육의 기회를 제공하고, 여학생들에게도 결혼을 통해 정서적으로 안정감을 갖기 위한 방안을 찾아볼 수 있도록 돕기 위한 교육과 학년에 따른 다른 교육이 이루어질 필요가 있다.

영문 초록

Purpose: The purpose of this study is to investigate university students’ perception on marriageand its sub-factors, ‘emotional stability’, ‘marriage conditions’, ‘maintenance of marriage’, and‘marriage system’, and this study has its meaning in that it can be a basic data for educatingthem in universities to have a desirable perception on marriage. Methods: As a research method to achieve the purpose, a survey was conducted on 114university students enrolled in University A located in Seoul from November 9 to November27, 2020. Regarding the study analysis, the frequency analysis, percentage analysis, andANOVA analysis were performed to examine the characteristics of the study subjects. Results: Male students were found to be higher in ‘emotional stability’, a sub-factor of universitystudents’ perception of marriage than female students. Second, the results according to schoolyear were also higher in the junior year than the freshman year in ‘emotional stability’, asub-factor of the perception of marriage. Conclusion: As for ‘emotional stability’, a sub-factor of university students’ perception of marriage,male students perceived it in a way accepting, positive, traditional, and conservative, andfemale students perceived marriage less positively. It can be said that this is actually negativethinking about marriage due to various factors such as the social values of female students,the desire for self as a woman, childbirth and childrearing, and economic burden. In addition,there are research results showing that the high emotional stability of junior students is influencedby factors such as interpersonal relationships, entertainment experiences, and educationalexperiences, but has a more conservative perception of marriage as their age increases. Therefore,in university education, it is necessary to provide male students with educational opportunitiesto prepare measures that can help change the differences between male and female perceptionsof marriage and the female students’ perception of marriage from negative to positive, andthere is a need for education to help female students find ways to achieve emotional stabilitythrough marriage and diverse education congenial to the school year.
