학문 목적 한국어 말하기 평가 과제 유형 개발 연구

국문 초록

본고는 학문 목적 한국어 말하기 평가 도구 개발을 위한 기초 연구로 학문 목적 한국어 말하기 평가 과제의 유형을 제안하고, 제안한 평가 과제 유형들이 학문 목적 한국어 말하기 평가 문항으로 유효한지를 검증하는 데 그 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 학문 목적 말하기 평가 과제의 유형을 결정하고 그것을 평가 문항으로 제작하여 모의시험을 시행하였다. 모의시험 자료들은 각 개별 국면을 분석해 주는 다국면 라쉬 모형을 적용해 평가 과제 국면을 분석하였고, 일반화가능도 이론을 적용하여 평가 과제에 대한 일반화가능도 계수를 구하였다. 분석 결과 본고에서 제안한 학문 목적 한국어 말하기 평가 과제 유형은 학문 목적 한국어 학습자들의 말하기 능력을 변별하는 데에 적합한 유형인 것으로 확인되었으며 과제의 수를 하나 줄이더라도 전체적인 평가 신뢰도는 유지되는 것으로 나타났다. 본고는 평가 과제 유형을 제안하는 것에 그치지 않고 통계 분석 프로그램을 활용하여 평가 과제의 실제적 유용성을 검증하였다는 데에 그 의의가 있다.

영문 초록

The aim of this study is to develop a type of speaking assessment tasks for KAP(Korean for Academic purpose). Developing the type of speaking assessment tasks is essential when designing a speaking assessment of KAP. In this respect, this study selected 3 speaking assessment tasks as a TLU(Target Language Use) task for KAP and carried out a trial examination to find out its effectiveness with foreign students who want to study at universities in Korea. The results showed that the tasks used for the experiment are proper to assess speaking proficiency of KAP students and clearly distinguish the oral proficiency between excellent and poor groups of students. The study also reveals that the use of 2 tasks is still effective to measure oral proficiency through the generalizability theory. Furthermore, the study has significance on proving with actual experiment that the speaking assessment task for the students for academic purpose need to be designed as TLU tasks.
