국문 초록

초갈등사회 속에서 한국교회는 사회적 갈등은 고사하고, 교회 내 갈등도 제대로 해결하지 못하고 있으며, 특히 한국을 대표하는 대형교회들의 법적 소송이 줄을 잇는 모습이 언론을 통해 사회에 알려지면서 교회의 이미지를 훼손시키고 신뢰도를 더욱 떨어뜨리고 있다. 이러한 한국교회의 소통과 화해의 기술의 부족으로 인한 갈등과 분열은 예수 십자가의 영성으로 사회갈등을 치유하고 용서와 화해 그리고 통합을 이끌어야 할 사명이 있는 교회 이미지에 큰 타격을 주고 있다. 한국교회는 통일한국의 시대를 주도적으로 이끌어 하나님의 샬롬(shalom)을 이 한반도에 실현해야 할 막중한 시대적 소명이 있으며, 신자는 이 세상에서 화해의 희망을 비추는 등대가 되어야 하고 평화의 사도가 되어야 한다. 본 논문은 교회가 갈등과 화해의 개념을 잘 이해하고 사회와 교회의 갈등상황을 미연(未然)에 방지 또는 잘 관리할 뿐 아니라, 용서와 화해의 영성목회를 증진시킬 목적을 가지고 있다. 이를 위해 갈등에 대한 어원적 개념적 그리고 성서적 이해와 함께 한국 사회와 개교회가 겪고 있는 내적인 갈등의 원인을 분석한 후에, 화해를 위한 성서적, 상담심리학적, 영성신학적 이해를 살펴보았고, 한국사회와 교회의 갈등을 건설적으로 해결하여 화해의 영성을 증진시키기 위한 교회의 사회참여와 교회 내 영성훈련, 그리고 갈등해결(conflict resolution: CR) 전문가 양성을 비롯한 영성목회방법을 나름대로 제시했다.

영문 초록

In the hyper-conflict society, Korean churches are not able to properly resolve conflicts within the church, let alone social conflicts. In particular, as legal litigations of megachurches representing Korea is known to society through the media, it is damaging the image of the church and even lowering its credibility. These conflicts and divisions, due to the lack of communication and reconciliation skills in the Korean church, are damaging the image of the church that has a mission to heal social conflicts and lead forgiveness, reconciliation, and unity through the spirituality of the cross of Jesus. The Korean Church has a great vocation to lead the unified Korea era to realize God’s shalom on the Korean Peninsula, and the members of the church should become a beacon of hope and apostles of peace. The purpose of this thesis is to promote the spiritual ministry of forgiveness and reconciliation, as well as to help the church understand the concept of conflict and reconciliation, and to prevent and manage conflict situations in advance. For this purpose, etymological concept of conflict, biblical understanding, along with the causes of internal conflicts experienced by Korean society and the church were analyzed. Biblical, counseling psychology, and spiritual theological understandings for reconciliation were also examined. And spiritual ministry methods such as the church’s social participation, spiritual training within the church, as well as nurturing conflict resolution experts to constructively resolve conflicts within Korean society and the church were suggested.
