국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 소외되었던 역사유산에 대한 사고 전환의 가능성을 진단하고, 침탈당한 역사에 대한 분노가 관광 체험 동기와 자아 정체성 진화 과정에 얼마나 영향을 미치는지 알아보는 데 있다. 연구 방법은 탐색적 연구로서 질적 연구 방법 중 근거 이론을 적용하였다. 연구의 표본은 대마도 역사유산 관광객 중 9명을 목적 표집 하였다. 인터뷰 참가자는 여자 5명, 남자 4명이 참가하였고, 학생, 직장인, 주부로 구성되었다. 인터뷰 자료 분석 결과 하위 범주 43개, 상위 범주 16개를 도출하였다. 연구 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 연구에 참여한 관광객의 침탈당한 역사에 대한 분노가 역사유산 관광 체험 동기와 자아 정체성 진화 과정에 영향을 미치고 있는 것을 파악할 수 있었고, 둘째, 침탈당한 역사 유적지 관광을 통하여 어두운 역사에 대한 사고 전환의 필요성 인식과 자아 정체성 진화가 체화되고 있는 것으로 확인되었으며, 셋째, 본 연구를 통하여 한, 일 양국 간 현실을 이해하고 새로운 미래 설계의 계기 마련, 그리고 삶의 태도에 변화를 기대하는 것으로 분석되었다. 넷째, 역사유산이 배경이 된 연구에서는 그 연구에 참여한 사람의 역사에 대한 인식과 기억이 중요한 역할을 하는 것으로 확인되었다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to diagnose the possibility of a thought shift concerning alienated historical heritage. It is also to investigate the effect of anger about deprived history on the motivation to experience historical heritage tourism and to examine the processes involved in the evolution of self- identity. The study method is an exploratory one and applied ‘ground theory’ among other qualitative research methods. A purposive sample for the study was collected from nine historical heritage tourists in Tsushima. Interview participants consisted of 5 female and 4 male participants who were students, workers, and housewives. Interview data analysis revealed 43 subcategories and 16 top categories. The conclusions of the study are as follows: First, among participants in the study, tourist anger at having their history plundered was found to influence the motivation for experiencing historical heritage tourism and the process of evolution in their selfidentity. Second, by touring historical relics plundered, the necessity for a thought shift is recognized by participants. Furthermore, this evolution of selfidentity is embodied in dark history. Third, throughout this study, it was determined that by understanding the reality between Korea and Japan, new opportunities for future design and an expectation of change in life attitude is seen. Fourth, in the cases where historical heritage became the background, it was confirmed that the recognition and memory of the study participants also played a significant role.
