국문 초록

본 연구는 성인들의 사이버폭력 가해를 감소시키기 위한 방안을 모색하기 위해 진행되었다. 성인들을 대상으로 사이버공간 이용시간과 사이버폭력 가해경험의 관계에서 사이버폭력에 대한 문제적 태도에 의해 조절된 유해콘텐츠 접촉경험의 매개효과를 검증하였다. 이를 위해 한국지능정보사회진흥원에서 실시한 「2020년 사이버폭력 실태조사」를 활용하여 2차 데이터 분석을 실시하였다. 연구결과 첫째, 성인의 사이버공간 이용시간은 사이버폭력 가해경험에 유의한 정(+)적 영향력을 가졌다. 둘째, 유해콘텐츠 접촉경험은 두 변수 간의 관계를 정(+)적으로 매개하였다. 셋째, 성인들의 사이버폭력에 대한 문제적 태도는 유해콘텐츠 접촉경험과 사이버폭력 가해경험의 관계를 조절하였다. 넷째, 성인들의 사이버공간 이용시간이 유해콘텐츠 접촉경험을 매개하여 사이버폭력 가해경험에 미치는 영향력을 사이버폭력에 대한 문제적 태도가 유의하게 조절하였다. 구체적으로, 사이버폭력에 대해 높은 문제적 태도를 가진 성인 집단에서는 사이버공간 이용시간이 증가함에도 불구하고 사이버폭력 가해가 감소되었다. 본 연구의 결과는 성인들의 사이버폭력 가해를 이해함에 있어, 유해콘텐츠 접촉경험과 사이버폭력에 대한 문제적 태도가 가지는 중요성을 강조한다. 따라서 성인들의 유해콘텐츠 접촉을 줄이기 위한 유해콘텐츠 이용 실명제 및 경고 안내문을 제공해야할 것이다. 또한 빅데이터나 AI를 활용하여 허가받지 않는 유해콘텐츠들을 차단·신고하여 유해콘텐츠의 공급을 줄이는 것이 필요하다. 마지막으로 성인들이 사이버폭력에 대해 문제적인 태도를 가질 수 있도록 성인들을 대상으로 한 사이버폭력 교육 프로그램이 마련해야 할 것이다. 이는 갈수록 심각해지는 성인 사이버폭력 문제에 효과적인 대응책이 될 것이라 기대한다.

영문 초록

Cyber Violence in adults is considered a serious social problem, and this study was conducted with the aim of suggesting effective measures to reduce adult cyber violence. In this study, the mediating effect of the harmful content contact experience controlled by the problematic attitude toward cyber violence was verified in the relationship between cyber space usage time and online violence experience for adults. To this end, secondary data analysis was conducted using the ‘2020 Cyber Violence Survey’ conducted by the Korea Intelligence Information Society Promotion Agency. As a result of the study, first, adult cyber space usage time had a significant positive (+) influence on cyber violence experience. Second, the experience of contacting harmful content positively mediated the relationship. Third, the problematic attitude of adults toward cyber violence adjusted the relationship between the experience of contacting harmful content and the experience of cyber violence. Fourth, the problematic attitude toward cyber violence significantly adjusted the influence of adults' use of cyberspace on cyber violence experience by mediating the contact experience of harmful content. Specifically, in the adult group with a high problematic attitude toward cyber violence, the cyber violence decreased as the time to use cyber space increased. The results of this study emphasize the importance of problematic attitudes toward cyber violence and contacting harmful content in understanding cyber violence in adults. Therefore, it is necessary to provide a real-name system for using harmful content and a warning notice to reduce contact with harmful content by adults. In addition, it is necessary to reduce the supply of harmful contents by blocking and reporting unauthorized harmful contents using big data or AI. Finally, cyber violence education programs for adults should be in place so that adults can have a problematic attitude toward cyber violence It is expected that this will be an effective countermeasure to the growing problem of adult cyber violence.
