낡은 서판에 대한 차라투스트라의 시선과 그림자이론

국문 초록

어느 날 문득, 그 동안 좋아했던 것, 그리하여 열렬하게 추구의 대상이 되었던 가치들에 멀미를 느낀 적은 없는가? 어느 날 문득, 그동안 옳다고 믿었던 가치들이 내 안에서 가치를 상실하여 시신으로 치워지는 것을 경험한 적은 없는가? 니체가 말했다. 선과 악이라는 불리는 것은 실제하는 것이 아니라 진부한 망상이라고. 나는 선과 악, 옳고 그름, 좋고 싫음의 프리즘을 통해 세상을 보는 일을 망상이라는 니체의 철학에 동의한다. 그러나 니체와 달리 선악의 세계와 저편의 세계를 분열시키지 않고 선악 저편의 세계에서 선악의 세계를 품을 수 있는 가능성이 있다고 믿는다. 니체에 따르면 모든 도덕은 오랫동안에 걸친 강제로서, 선과 악, 참과 거짓, 미와 추, 이 이분법적 사고는 일종의 질병이며 부숴버려야 할 낡은 서판이다. 니체의 지적은 두 가지 점에서 유효하다고 생각한다. 첫째, 선과 악, 참과 거짓은 보편적인 것이 아니라, 특정한 사회복합체의 조건을 누설한다는 것이다. 그런 점에서 선악의 판단은 언제나 상대적이고, 특정 사회 의존적이다. 둘째, 특정사회 속에서 선과 악, 참과 거짓의 기능은 그 사회가 지양하는 공동의 적을 설정함으로써 특정한 목적에 맞게 사회를 통합해 가는 것이다. 즉, 사회는 사회에서 수용할 수 없는 것을 악이라 규정하고, 그 일을 행하는 자를 공동의 적으로 삼고 불신과 증오 혹은 감금으로써 통제해왔던 것이다. 니체에 따르면 차라리 선하다는 자에 위해 버림받은 악과 어두움과 그림자는 진리탄생의 씨앗이다. 니체가 양심의 가책을 부숴버려야 할 낡은 서판이라 소리를 높였던 것도 양심의 가책이 자기 속의 악과 그림자를 보듬지 못하고 그럼으로써 자기 속의 에너지를 외면하여 버리는 방법이기 때문이다. 그림자는 자기 속에서 방치된 에너지다. 본능과 육체와 충동은 억누르거나 외면해야 할 것이 아니라 귀 기울여야 할 영감의 원천이다. 약한 인간이 약한 인간인 것은 자신 속의 에너지의 원천인 육체와 충동과 본능을 억압하거나 방치하고 있기 때문이다. 내 속의 악, 내 속의 충동, 내 속의 본능을 돌보는 것 없이 니체가 고독 속에서 그토록 발견하고자 했던 ‘자기’는 없다.

영문 초록

One day, have you ever all of a suddenfelt sick to the values that had been the target for you. Have you ever all of a sudden experienced that the belief you thought it was all right just lost its worth and became a corpse inside your mind? Nietzsche said good and evil aren't the real but they're only trite delusions. I agree with Nietzsche's philosophy that seeing a world through a prism that can reflect only good and evil, right andwrong is a delusion. However unlike Nietzsche I believe that we can also have a potential to embrace all the sides of good and evil and not just split them to the two different worlds of the view. According to Nietzsche, all the moralities are compulsion done by very long time. Good and evil, truth and untruth, and beauty and ugliness, these dichotomous thinking is a kind of diseases and we must break these old tablets. I think Nietzsche's indication is valid in two respects. First, good and evil, truth and untruth aren't universal but they leak some condition of certain social complex. In that point, the decision of the good and evil is always relative and it depends on the certain society. Second, the functions of good and evil, truth and untruth are like union of the society with the proper purpose by settling an enemy of the association. That is society stipulate evil which they couldn't accept, and regard those who do the things they can't accept as the enemies of the association and controlled them bydistrust, hatred or confinement. According to Nietzsche, the shadow of evil and darkness is a seed of birth of the truth. The shadow is an energy that left alone inside one's self.Urges of instinct and body are the sources of inspiration so that we must give them attention nothold down or turn away from them. The reasons for why weak human is weak are because they're hold down or simply turn away from the body and the urge or the instinct which originally are the source of their own energy. There are no self that Nietzsche so wanted to find out without evil in my heart or urge in my heart, no caring my instinct in side of me.
