중국 유학생의 학업적 성취목표지향성이 대학생활적응에 미치는 영향의 관계에서 자아탄력성, 의사소통능력 및 자기효능감의 매개효과

국문 초록

본 연구는 중국인 유학생 271명을 대상으로 실시한 설문조사를 바탕으로 중국인 유학생의 학업적 성취목표지향성과 대학생활적응의 관계에서 자아탄력성, 의사소통능력, 자기효능감의 매개효과를 경로분석을 통해 검증하여 다음과 같은 결과를 도출하였다. 첫째, 숙달목표와 수행접근 목표지향성의 경우 자아탄력성, 의사소통능력, 자기효능감에 영향을 미치는 경로는 각각 정적으로 유의한 것으로나타났으나 수행회피 목표지향성의 경우 의사소통능력에 영향을 미치는 경로가유의하지 않았다. 둘째, 모든 학업적 성취목표 지향성은 자아탄력성을 예측하고, 자아탄력성은 학교적응을 예측했으나 자아탄력성의 매개효과는 통계적으로는 유의하지 않았다. 셋째, 의사소통능력은 숙달목표 및 수행접근과 학교적응의 관계에서 유의미한 매개변인으로 확인되었다. 마지막으로 자기효능감은 성취목표지향성의 종류와 상관없이 성취목표지향성과 대학생활적응간의 관계를 모두 매개하지않는 것으로 확인되었다. 본 연구의 결과를 바탕으로 중국인 유학생의 대학생활적응을 촉진하기 위한 효과적인 교육 및 상담적 개입방법을 제시하고 논의하였다.

영문 초록

Based on a survey of 271 Chinese students, this study examined the mediation effects of self-resilience, communicative competence, self-efficacy in the relationship between the academic achievement goal orientation and university life adaptation through path analysis. The results are as follows: First, for mastery and performance-approach goal orientation, the paths affecting self-resilience, communicative competence, self-efficacy were statistically significant, but there was no statistical significance between performance-avoidance goal orientation and communicative competence. Second, all academic achievement goal orientations predicted self-resilience, and self-resilience predicted school adaptation, but the mediated effects of self-resilience were not statistically significant. Third, communicative competence has been identified as significant parameters in the relationship between mastery and performance-approach goal orientation and university life adaptation. Finally, self-efficacy did not mediate the relationship between achievement goal orientation and university life adaptation, regardless of the types of academic achievement goal orientation. Based on the results of this study, effective educational and counseling interventions were discussed to promote Chinese students’ adaptation to college life.
