교사의 다문화 태도 및 교수효능감과 어머니의 다문화 인식 및 문화성향이 유아의 다문화 인식에 미치는 영향

국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 유아의 다문화 인식에 영향을 미칠 것으로 사료되는 교사와 어머니의 다문화 관련 요인을 탐색하고, 교사와 어머니의 다문화 관련 요인이 유아의 다문화 인식에 미치는 영향을 확인하기 위한 것이다. 연구대상은 부산광역시 및 경상남도에 위치한 유치원 및 어린이집의 만4·5세반 담임교사 70명과 연구 참여에 동의한 학급 내 유아 및 어머니 각각 700명을 대상으로, 유아의 다문화 인식에 영향을 미치는 교사와 어머니의 다문화 관련 요인을 알아보기 위한 설문조사를 수행하였으며, 불성실하게 작성된 253 Case를 제외한 최종 447 Case를 대상으로 분석을 실시하였다. 연구도구는 선행연구들에서 사용한 설문지 및 연구결과를 바탕으로 연구목적에 맞게 수정·보완하여 활용하였다. 자료 분석은 문헌분석을 통해 연구모형과 가설을 설정하였으며, 데이터마이닝(data mining)을 통해 수집된 측정변수의 정화과정을 위해 탐색적 요인분석, 확인적 요인분석, 신뢰도분석, 그리고 상관분석을 실시하였다. 최종 연구가설검증을 위해 연구모형의 적합도 검증을 실시하였으며, 모형적합도 향상을 위해 M.I. 값과 Par Change값을 활용하였다. 연구결과 교사의 다문화 태도가 교사의 교수효능감에 유의미한 영향을 미치고 있었으며, 수업기능을 제외한 교사의 다문화 교수효능감이 유아의 다문화 인식 형성에 긍정적인 영향을 미치고 있었다. 한편, 어머니의 다문화 인식이 어머니의 문화성향에 유의미한 영향을 미치고 있었으며, 특히 수직개인주의 성향과 수직집단주의 성향을 제외한 어머니가 가진 문화성향이 유아의 다문화 인식 형성에도 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다.

영문 초록

This study aims to search for the factors related to multiple cultures of teachers and mothers that affect multicultural awareness of young children, and to confirm whether or not these factors will affect early multicultural awareness of children. The research objects were 70 homeroom teachers of classes with 4 and 5-year old children in kindergartens and daycare centers located in Busan and Gyeongsangnam-do, and also 700 mothers and their young children who agreed to participate in this study during class time. The survey was performed to find the factors related to multiple cultures of teachers and mothers' influencing multicultural awareness of young children, and the final 447 cases were analyzed except 253 cases considered to be written disingenuously. The research tool is the questionnaire that was configured based on the questionnaire and results of pre-researches, and has been used after modifying and complementing so as to be well-suited for the purpose of this study. For data analysis, we established a study model and a hypothesis through literature review and conducted exploratory factor analysis, confirmatory factor analysis, reliability analysis and correlation analysis for purification process of measurement variable using data mining. The results of this research are as fallow: The teacher's multicultural teaching efficacy except for teaching skills factor has a positive impact on the formation of the early multicultural awareness of children, and also the teacher's multicultural attitude has a significant impact on the teacher's multicultural teaching efficacy. In addition, the mother's cultural disposition except for vertical-individualistic and vertical-collectivist tendencies has a positive impact on the formation of early multicultural awareness of children, and the mother's multicultural awareness also has a significant impact on the mother' s cultural disposition.
