군 간부의 직무스트레스가 자살생각에 미치는 영향 연구

국문 초록

자살생각은 개인과 가정 나가서는 군 조직에 심대한 영향을 미치는 것으로 보고되고 있기 때문에 자살생각을 낮추는 것은 자살 사고뿐만 아니라 여러 가지 유형의 사고를 예방하는 데 중요하다고 할 수 있다. 그러므로 자살생각의 선행변수를 탐색하여 자살생각과의 관계를 규명하고, 이 관계에서 자살생각을 감소시키기 위한 조절변수를 확인하는 것은 개인과 가정, 군 조직을 위해 필요하다. 본 연구의 목적은 자살생각의 선행변수로서 군 조직 내 직무스트레스, 알콜 의존도를 확인하고, 직무스트레스와 자살생각의 관계에서 알콜 의존도의 매개효과를 확인하는 것이다. 그리고 직무스트레스와 알콜 의존도와의 관계, 직무스트레스와 자살생각과의 관계에서 회복탄력성의 조절효과를 검증하는 것이다. 이를 위하여 육군에 근무 중인 간부 266명을 대상으로 설문 응답을 시행하였으며, 직무스트레스와 자살생각, 알콜 의존도 및 회복탄력성을 측정하였다. 위계적 회귀분석을 실시한 결과, 직무스트레스가 알콜 의존도에 미치는 효과가 정적으로 유의하게 나타나 알콜 의존도의 선행변수로서 직무스트레스가 확인되었고, 알콜 의존도가 직무스트레스와 자살생각의 관계에서 매개변수로 투입되었을 때 부분매개 효과가 유의하게 나타났다. 또한 직무스트레스와 알콜 의존도, 자살생각의 관계에서 회복탄력성의 조절효과가 유의하게 나타났다. 회복탄력성이 높을수록 직무스트레스가 자살생각에 미치는 영향이 낮아졌으며 알콜 의존도가 자살생각에 미치는 영향 역시 낮아졌다.

영문 초록

Since suicidal ideation have been reported to have a profound impact on individuals, families, and, furthermore military organizations, reducing suicidal ideation is important not only when it comes to suicide itself but also in preventing various types of incidents. Therefore, it is necessary for individuals, families, and military organizations to explore the leading variables of suicidal ideation to identify the relationship with suicidal ideation and to identify moderating variables to reduce suicidal ideation in this relationship. The purpose of this study was to confirm job stress and alcohol dependence within the military organizations as leading variables of suicidal ideation, and to confirm the mediating effect of alcohol dependence in the relationship between job stress and suicidal ideation. In addition, the moderating effect of resilience was verified in the relationship between job stress and alcohol dependence, and in the relationship between job stress and suicidal ideation. To this end, a survey response was conducted on 266 militaray officers and NCOs of ROK Army, which measured job stress, suicidal ideation, alcohol dependence, and resilience. As a result of hierarchical regression analysis, the effect of job stress on alcohol dependence was positively significant, confirming job stress as a leading variable of alcohol dependence, and the partial mediating effect was significant when alcohol dependence was used as a parameter in the relationship between job stress and suicidal ideation. In addition, in the relationship among job stress, alcohol dependence, and suicidal ideation, the moderating effect of resilience was significant, and specifically, when resilience is high, the effect of job stress on suicidal ideation will be lower than when it is low. In addition, when resilience is high, the effect of alcohol dependence on suicidal ideation will be lower than when it is low.
