영문 초록

This study analyzes the effect of the transportation mode on park accessibility in Seoul, using the 2SFCA model. Using navigation data, it estimates park accessibility using travel time by the transportation modes such as walking, bicycle, and public transportation. The results reveal that park service coverage varies, depending on the transportation modes. However, the expansion of the park service coverage is not directly proportional to the improvement of park accessibility. In addition, the index of urban parks accessibility, provided by the Seoul Metropolitan Government, is overestimated by 37.2% compared to park accessibility by walking based on 2 SFCA model. Lastly, it identifies the priority areas for requiring parks due to the weak accessibility of transportation modes. Therefore, policy makers and urban planners should consider a reevaluation of park accessibility to some parks. Additionally, they should adopt various strategies for accessibility improvement.
