국문 초록

본 연구는 코인 투자에 대한 몰입 정도를 측정하는 코인 몰입 척도(Coin Engagement Scale: CES)를 개발하고 타당화 하였다. 이를 위해 예비 연구에서는 코인 투자 경험이 있는 219명을 대상으로 한 개방식 질문과 기존 행위 중독 및 주식 투자에 관한 문헌 조사를 토대로 구성개념을 설정하고, 내용 타당도 평정을 거쳐 총 58개의 예비문항을 선정하였다. 본 연구에서는 최종 문항선정을 위해 코인 투자자들이 이용하는 커뮤니티에서 모집한 191명의 응답을 수집하여 탐색적 요인분석과 신뢰도 분석을 실시하였다. 그 결과, 4개 요인(역기능적 요인: 부정정서, 일상생활 지장, 과몰입; 기능적 요인: 긍정기능) 구조를 가지고 있는 총 23개 문항이 추출되었다. 다음으로, 이 척도에 대한 확인적 요인분석과 타당도 분석을 실시하였다. 그 결과, 코인 몰입 척도가 신뢰롭고 타당한 척도임이 지지 되었다. 이러한 결과는 본 연구에서 개발한 코인 몰입 척도가 코인투자자의 몰입 정도를 다차원적으로 측정할 수 있는 도구로서 역할을 할 수 있음을 지지한다. 본 연구는 코인 투자의 기능 탐색 및 행위 중독 연구의 중요한 기초 정보로써 제공될 수 있을 것이다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to develop and validate the Coin Engagement Scale (CES) which measures the degree of investors' engagement to coin investment. For this purpose, the concept was set based on open-ended question responses for 219 people with coin investment experience and the literature review of behavioral addiction and stock investment, and a total of 58 preliminary questions were selected through content validation. 191 coin investors were collected to select the final items, and exploratory factor analysis and reliability analysis were conducted. As a result, a total of 23 items were extracted with the structure of 4 factors (Dysfunctional aspects: Negative emotions, Daily living disturbance, Over engagement; Functional aspects: Positive function). In addition, confirmatory factor analysis and validity analysis were conducted, as a result, it was supported that the CES was a reliable and valid scale. These results support that the CES can serve as a tool for multidimensional measurements of the coin investor's engagement. This study could be provided as an important foundation for the study of coin investment and behavioral addiction.
