외식업프랜차이즈 본사의 지원시스템과 슈퍼바이저 역량이 관계결속 및 경영성과에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구

국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 상대적으로 연구가 부족했던 프랜차이즈 본부와 가맹점 관계에서 본사지원 시스템, 슈퍼바이저 역량이 관계 결속 및 관계갈등을 통해 경영성과에 미치는 영향을 실증분석하고, 시사점을 제공하고자 하였다. 이를 위하여 본 연구는 프랜차이즈 지원시스템, 슈퍼바이저 역량, 관계결속 및 관계갈등, 가맹점 자율성 변수의 대하여 기존에 수행되었던 연구들과 논의를 충분히 검토함으로써 최종적으로 8개의 가설을 도출하였다. 이를 위해, 서울 수도권 내에 프랜차이즈 종사자를 대상으로 자료를 수집하였고, 수집된 자료에 대해 신뢰성과 타당성을 검토하였고, 구조방정식 모형분석을 통해 가설을 검증하였다. 본 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 지원시스템과 슈퍼바이저 역량과 관계결속, 관계갈등 및 경영성과의 인과관계 분석 결과, 지원시스템과 슈퍼바이저 역량은 부분적으로 관계 결속과 관계 갈등에 정(+)의 영향을 미쳤으며, 관계결속은 경영성과에 정(+)의 영향, 관계갈등은 경영성과에 부(-)의 영향을 미쳤다. 가맹점 자율성은 슈퍼바이저의 인지적역량과 관계결속 관계에서 조절적 역할을 하였다. 기존의 본사지원 시스템과 슈퍼바이저 역량에 대해 연구는 제한된 범위에서 이루어졌었다. 이에 본 연구에서는 기존에 상대적으로 간과되었던 슈퍼바이저 역량과 가맹점 자율성 변수를 적용하여 프랜차이즈 본부의 활동과 경영성과 간의 관계를 확장하여 실증함으로써 이론적, 실무적 시사점을 제공하였다.

영문 초록

This study attempted to demonstrate and provide implications for the effect of the headquarters support system and supervisor capabilities on management performance through relationship bonding and relationship conflict in the relationship between franchise headquarters and franchisees, which were relatively. This study finally drew eight hypotheses by sufficiently reviewing the previous studies and discussions of franchise support systems, supervisor capabilities, relationship bonding and relationship conflicts, and franchise autonomy variables. To this end, data were collected for franchise workers in the Seoul metropolitan area, reliability and validity of the collected data were reviewed, and hypotheses were verified through structural equation model analysis. As a result of analyzing the relationship between the support system and supervisor competency and relationship conflict and management performance, the support system and supervisor competency partially had a positive (+) effect on relationship bond and relationship conflict, and negative (-) effect on management performance. Merchant autonomy played a controlling role in the relationship between the supervisor's cognitive competency and relationship bond. This study empiricaclly assessed the impact of headquarters support system and supervisior capabilities n relationship association and management performance in the Franchise system
