국문 초록

연구자는 우리나라 중소기업 금융을 일본, 미국 등의 그것과 비교·분석하여 우리나라 중소기업 금융은, 첫째 GDP 규모에 비하여 그 규모가 지나치게 크고, 둘째 직접금융의 활용도가 낮고, 셋째 정보 비대칭성 문제를 해결하기 위한 기제가 부족하다는 것을 확인하였다. 연구자는 또한 우리나라의 왜곡된 금융시장의 구조를 바로 잡으면서 산업의 균형발전, 창의적 산업의 육성, 대·중소기업 간의 양극화 해소 등과 같은 목표를 효과적으로 달성하기 위해서는 무엇보다도 대·중소기업 간의 협력 체제를 활용한 금융이 필요하다는 결과를 도출하였다. 연구자는 본 연구의 말미에 ``중소기업-대기업-금융기관`` 등의 연계체계 구축에 바탕을 둔 중소기업 금융을 실천하는 방법과 미래 연구의 방향을 제시하였다.

영문 초록

Small and medium enterprises(SMEs) usually have far narrower financing sources available, making them more vulnerable to the turbulent conditions in financial markets, thus the Korean government has offered substantial financial supports for SMEs` financing needs. These governmental supports have caused a serious problem for the Korean financial market, leading to SMEs to rely on too much bank loans and government guaranteed loans vis-a-vis Japanese and US. SMEs. The Korean government should find high-quality policy rather than the quantitative expansion to support SMEs` financing. In this regards, the study pursues new financial policy toward SMEs by comparing policy experiences in Japan, the United States, and Korea. The study suggests ``partnership-finance``, a new scheme for SMEs` financing based on partnership-relation between big companies and small and medium enterprises. Implications for practice and governmental policy, along with directions for future research, are suggested.
