국문 초록

본 논문은 최근 산업구조 변화에 따른 고용의 양태가 변화하고 있는 가운데 고용 관점에서 가상추출방법을 이용하여 고용연관효과를 측정하고, 이를 통해 고용창출형 선도산업의 유형과 고용연관효과의 특성을 살펴보고자 한다. 실증분석 결과를 보면, 산업구조상에서 제조업보다는 서비스업이 고용계수가 높아 직접적인 고용창출 측면에 경쟁력이 있는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 산업구조상에서 제조업의 고용창출 규모 측면에서 총고용연관효과가 높은 산업은 전기 및 전자기기, 운송장비, 화학제품 순으로 나타났고, 서비스산업의 경우에 고용창출 규모 측면에서 총고용연관효과가 높은 산업은 도소매서비스, 건설, 운송서비스 순으로 나타났다. 연관유발계수는 제조업이 서비스업보다 높은 것으로 나타나 연관유발효과 측면에서는 제조업의 중요성을 알 수 있었다. 고용창출에서 직접효과계수와 총고용연관효과의 계수가 평균 이상인 고용창출형 선도산업의 유형은 제조업의 경우에 음식료품, 섬유 및 가죽제품, 목재 및 종이인쇄, 기계 및 장비, 정밀기기, 기타 제조업부문으로 나타났고 서비스업의 경우에 도소매서비스, 음식점 및 숙박서비스, 전문과학 및 기술서비스, 사업지원서비스, 교육서비스, 보건 및 사회복지서비스, 문화 및 기타 서비스 부문으로 나타났다.

영문 초록

This paper measures employment linkage effects using Hypothetical Extraction Method(HEM) and explores types of leading key industry with employment generation and characteristics of employment effects when the aspects of employment has been changed due to recent industrial structure changes. This paper shows that the coefficient of employment of service sector is higher than that of manufacturing sector and then service sector is competitive in terms of direct job creation. In terms of employment size in manufacturing sector, high total employment linkage effects order in industry is expressed as electrical and electronic equipment, transportation equipment, and chemical products. In case of service sectors, in terms of employment size, high total employment linkage effects order in industry is listed as wholesale and retail services, construction, and transportation services. This paper also reveals that in employment generation of manufacturing industry, types of leading key industry associated with job creation which has coefficients of direct effects and total employment linkage effects above average are represented as food and beverage, textile and leather products, wood, paper and printing, machinery and equipment, precision instruments, and other manufacturing sectors. In service sectors, types of leading key industry associated with job creation are displayed as wholesale and retail services, food and beverage services, science and technology services, business support services, education services, health and social welfare services, culture and other service sectors.
