국문 초록

대부분이 미디어에 익숙한 20대인 오늘날의 한국어 학습자는 인터넷과 스마트폰에 연결되지 않은 경우에도 인터넷과 미디어에 크게 의존한다. 또한 스마트폰 사용으로 인해 교사, 학부모와의 갈등이 존재하기 때문에 일상생활뿐만 아니라 학교생활에서도 인터넷 매체와 매우 밀접하게 연결되어 있다. 본 연구의 목적은 한국어 학습자의 미디어에 대한 인식과 사용 패턴을 조사하여 한국어 교육에 대한 적용 가능성을 살펴보았다. 한국어 학습자 100명을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하고 그 결과를 분석하였다. 1단계는 한국어 학습자의 미디어 이용 시간, 주로 사용하는 미디어, 사전 지식 및 선호도를 포함하는 미디어 사용 패턴을 조사하는 예비 조사였다. 2단계에서는 한국어 웹사이트 이용경험, 이용 빈도, 자기주도 학습을 위한 이용경험, 수업시간 학습경험을 조사하여 한국어 학습에 미디어가 활용되고 있는지를 조사하였다. 세 번째 단계는 한국어 교육 분야에서 학습자 매체의 필요성과 학습 효과 가능성을 조사하기 위해 직접 적용 가능성을 조사하였다. 본 연구의 결과는 학습자 중심의 교육이 중요한 교육현장에서 교수학습의 주체인 학생들의 인식을 살펴봄으로써 학계와 교육계에 다양한 교육적 시사점을 제공하였다. 또한 4차 산업혁명과 함께 변화하는 환경에 따라 새로운 교과서와 교육매체, 교육과정을 설계하는 기초자료로 활용되기를 기대한다.

영문 초록

Today’s Korean leaners, mostly in twenties and familiar with media, are highly dependent on the Internet and its media even when they are disconnected to the Internet and smartphones. In addition, they are very close to the Internet media in school life, not only everyday life because there exist conflicts with teachers and parents due to the usage of smartphones. The purpose of this study is to examine the applicability to Korean language education by investigating the perception and the usage pattern of media of Korean learners. We survey 100 Korean learners and analyze the results. The first phase will be a preliminary investigation which examines the media usage pattern, which include media usage time, mainly used media, prior knowledge and preferences, of Korean learners. In the second phase, we survey Korean website experience, usage frequency, experience of using it for self-learning, and experience of learning in class to examine whether media is used to learn Korean language. The third phase is to investigate the possibility of direct application that the needs of learners’ media in the field of Korean language education and the possibility of learning effect will be investigated. The results of this stud will provide diverse educational implications to academia and education field by examining the perception of students, the subjects of teaching learning in the field of education where learner focused education is important. In addition, we expect that the results will be utilized as a basic material to design a new textbook and educational media, and curriculum as the environment changes with the forth industrial revolution.
