청소년기 부모의 긍정적 양육태도가 친구관계, 교사관계, 자존감, 삶의 만족에 미치는 영향

국문 초록

본 연구는 삶의 만족과 영향요인 간의 관계 분석으로 청소년의 삶의 만족을 높이는 데 필요한 정보제공을 목적으로 하였으며, 한국아동･청소년 패널조사의 중1 코호트, 제 2차년도(2019)의 자료(2,438명)를 활용하여 구조회귀모형 분석을 하였다. 분석에 사용된 변인은 삶의 만족도를 포함하여 5개 변인으로 분석 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 부모의 긍정적 양육태도는 교사관계와 친구관계에 정적인 영향을 주며, 이들 요인은 모두 자아존중감에도 정적 영향을 주는 것으로 나타났다. 특히, 부모의 긍정적 양육태도는 자아존중감에 가장 큰 영향을 주었다. 둘째, 자아존중감은 삶의 만족에 영향을 주며, 교사관계는 미미한 수준의 영향을 주었다. 반면, 친구관계와 부모의 긍정적 양육태도는 삶의 만족에 직접적인 영향은 유의미하지 않았으나, 간접적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 연구결과를 통해 청소년의 부모와 교사, 친구와의 관계가 삶의 만족에 직･간접으로 영향을 주며, 삶의 만족에 있어 자아존중감의 중요성을 확인할 수 있었다. 본 연구가 학생들의 삶의 만족을 높이기 위한 학생지도에 활용될 수 있기를 기대한다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this research was to provide useful information for enhancing the adolescents’ life satisfaction by analyzing the relationships among life satisfaction and other influencing factors. To achieve the purpose, this study used the data of 2,438 students in the 2nd year Korean Children and Youth panel Survey 2018(1st year of middle school students cohort), and executed the structural regression model analysis among influencing factors on adolescents’ life satisfaction. The results are as follows. First, the positive parenting style influenced the relationships with teacher and peers positively, and these three variables also influenced the adolescents’ self esteem. Second, the self-esteem had an influence on life satisfaction and relationship with teacher had a weak influence. The relationship with peers and positive parenting style had no direct influence on life satisfaction, whereas had indirect influence by self-esteem on life satisfaction. This study confirmed the importance of adolescents’ self-esteem to enhance the life satisfaction and direct and indirect effect of positive relationships with parents, peers and teachers on life satisfaction. we expect these results will use to guide the students for improving their life satisfaction.
