평생직업교육 참여 장년층의 사회적 지지와 경력실천행동과의 관계

국문 초록

이 연구는 평생직업교육에 참여한 장년층을 대상으로 그들이 인지하고 있는 사회적 지지와 경력실천행동과의 관계에서 주관적 경력성공의 매개효과가 어떻게 나타나는지 확인하고자 진행되었다. 이를 위해 공공후견인 양성과 관련한 교육과정에 참가한 장년층 학습자들을 대상으로 설문을 실시하였고, 회수된 286부를 바탕으로 분석을 실시하였다. 해당 연구의 분석을 위해 구조방정식과 PROCESS macro를 통한 매개효과 분석을 시행하였다. 분석을 진행한 결과, 모형의 적합도는 모두 수용 기준을 상회하였고, 평생직업교육에 참여한 장년층의 사회적 지지, 주관적 경력성공, 경력실천행동 사이의 관계가 모두 정적으로 유의한 것으로 밝혀졌다. 또한 연구 변인들 간의 총효과, 직접효과, 간접효과가 모두 유의한 수준으로 존재한다는 것을 확인하였고, 주관적 경력성공이 평생직업교육에 참여한 장년층의 사회적 지지와 경력실천행동의 관계를 부분적으로 매개한다는 점을 밝힐 수 있었다. 해당 연구를 통해 사회적 지지 수준이 높은 장년층 학습자는 경력실천행동 수준이 더 높음을 알 수 있었다. 또한 장년층 학습자의 사회적 지지는 주관적 경력성공을 통하여 경력실천행동 수준을 더 높인다는 결론을 도출할 수 있었다.

영문 초록

This study was conducted to find out how the mediating effect of subjective career success was made in the relationship between social support and career preparation for seniors who participated the life-long vocational education program. For this study, the survey was conducted for seniors who took a public guardianship training program in 2019, and 286 survey copies were collected. For the analysis, a structural analysis, and a mediating effect analysis using the PROCESS macro were conducted. The findings of the study were as follows. First, this research model fit was acceptable. Second, the correlations among social support, subjective career success, and career preparation were revealed as significantly positive. Third, social support had a direct and indirect effect on career preparation via subjective career success of seniors who participated the life-long vocational education program. Finally, subjective career success was found to partially mediate the relationship between social support and career preparation. the findings confirmed that the level of social support of seniors may increase the level of career preparation activities through subjective career success.
