국문 초록

본고는 조선후기 필기가 분화되어 가는 과정 속에서 ꡔ삽교만록ꡕ이 지닌 의미를 고찰해 보는 것을 그 목적으로 하였다. 필기는 사대부 문인학자들 사이에 見聞한 것을 자유로운 형태로 기록한 것으로, 조선조 문인들에 의해 창작되고 향유되어 왔다. 조선후기에 들어서 필기는 사대부의 독서체험의 확대와 그에 따른 지적 역량의 성장으로 인해 다양한 층위로 분화되는 양상을 보인다. 한 분야에 전문적 지식을 담은 서적과 博學을 바탕으로 한 백과전서류의 기록물 등이 창작되는가 하면, 필기의 형식적 틀 속에 조선후기 다양한 사회현상을 소재로 채택하여 내적변화를 추구하려고 했던 것이다. 삽교 안석경의 ꡔ삽교만록ꡕ은 사대부의 일상적 모습을 기록하여 여타 필기작품과 동일한 면모를 지니고 있는 한편, 다양한 현실세계에 관심을 기울이고 의심나는 것이나 보다 세심한 분석이 요구되는 사안에 대해서 변증적 성격의 글을 남기고 있어 이전 시기 필기와는 다른 면을 지니고 있다. 또한 ꡔ삽교만록ꡕ에 수록되어 있는 한문단편은 뛰어난 서사성을 지닌 것들로 필기의 서사화가 진행되는 과정에서 분명 주목할 만한 성과이며, 그 소재 역시 외연으로 확장되어 다양한 내용을 수록함으로서 필기가 내적발전을 거듭하고 있음을 확인할 수 있다.

영문 초록

In the process of Pilgi(miscellaneous writing) getting specialized in the late period of the Joseon Dynasty, considering the meaning and significance of ꡔSapgyomanrok(Miscellanea of Sapgyo)ꡕ, the collection of miscellaneous writing written by Sapgyo, is the core issue of this study. Pilgi as a kind of the documentary literature written in the free style by the literary men of the Joseon Dynasty concerning what they had seen and heard, had been mainly written and enjoyed by them. Beginning the latter part of Joseon Dynasty, it shows that Pilgi became differentiated in various levels as the gentry of Joseon Dynasty expanding their reading experience and improving their intellectual ability. They tried to chase an internal change by creating a book for expert knowledge in a special field and a document based on great learning or wide knowledge like an encyclopedia and picking up a variety of phenomena in the late Joseon Dynasty as writing matter in the form of Pilgi. Sapgyo An Seok-kyeong s ꡔSapgyomanrok (Miscellanea of Sapgyo)ꡕ including the gentry s everyday life is similar to the other Pilgi works. On the other hand, it payed attention to the various real worlds and showed dialectic writings about what he suspected or what need to do a more careful analysis and so we can find some of different features through it from the former s. Besides, especially, not only are short stories in Classical Chinese in ꡔSapgyomanrok (Miscellanea of Sapgyo)ꡕ a remarkable fruit with the narrative change of Pilgi going on because they contain outstanding historicity but the writing matters are also expanded to the external in order to involve many different contents from them in it. So, through these achievements, the fact that Pilgi continued to flourish internally could be made sure.
