韓國 辭賦에 나타나는 悲哀의 情緖

국문 초록

본 논문은 韓國 辭賦 가운데 개인 정서의 형상화가 두드러진 작품들을 대상으로 하여 그것에 나타나는 悲哀의 情緖를 살피는 것을 목표로 하였다. 悲哀의 감정은 한 개인의 경험과 객관적인 현상에 대한 주체의 내면 의식과 긴밀하게 연관된 것이므로 이러한 정서를 담고 있는 작품들은 抒情적인 성격을 띠기 마련이다. 그러므로 본고의 논의를 통해 辭賦의 抒情적인 성격에 대해서는 크게 주목하지 않았던 지금까지의 연구 시각의 전환을 꾀하고자 한 것이다. 나아가 이러한 고찰이 辭賦의 문학성을 검증하기 위한 토대 연구로서의 의미를 지니게 되기를 기대한 것이다. 개인이 悲哀의 감정을 느끼게 되는 원인은 여러 가지이다. 그러므로 본고에서는 悲哀의 주된 원인이 무엇인지에 주목하여 죽음과 이별에 대한 哀悼의 情恨, 失意한 自我에 대한 鬱鬱한 情懷, 역사 회고에서의 悲憤 등의 유형으로 나누어 살펴보았다. 슬픈 감정이 유발되는 각각의 경우마다 그 상황을 대면하는 개인의 내면을 형상화한 작품들은 공통적으로 悲哀를 지배적 정서로 하면서, 哀悼·恨·鬱憤·悲憤 등 보다 세분화된 정서를 드러내고 있음을 확인할 수 있었다. 이를 통해 辭賦의 抒情적 성격에 대해 논의하고, 나아가 그것이 지니는 문학성을 究明할 수 있는 토대가 마련되었다고 할 수 있겠다.

영문 초록

This manuscript intends to examine the feeling of sorrow, considering those Korean Cifu works which contain salient expression of personal feelings. The feeling of sorrow is closely related to a subject s internal consciousness of his or her experiences and objective phenomena, so that it is natural for those works with such affect to be characterized with lyricism. Therefore, this manuscript purpose to make a change in the research perspective which has not paid sufficient attention to the lyrical quality of Cifu. Furthermore, this review is expected to pave the way for verifying the literary quality of Cifu. Various causes may provoke the feeling of sorrow. Thus, this manuscript considers main causes of sorrow and examines them according to its types: grief over death and separation, melancholia from one s frustrated self and lamentation in retrospection of history. As for the respective cases where sad feelings are provoked, while sharing the commonality of a predominant feeling of sorrow, those works, which express the inner world of an individual who is confronting such situation, are confirmed to represent more detailed levels of emotions: lamentation, a mixed feeling of sorrow and regret[Han], resentment, indignation, etc. Based on this, the lyrical quality of Cifu is discussed, providing a foundation for identifying the literary quality of Cifu.
