영문 초록

This paper pays attention to “伐木” section of 『詩經』“小雅”, due to its high utilization in Korean writers as a typical friendship work. Through all ages, there’s no doubt with considering “伐木” as banquet poem(宴享詩) and Korean writers are mostly interested in chapter 1 which is most intensively expressed the longing for friendship. This paper takes a look at the way that how Korean writers comprehend and accept the “伐木” poem and analyzes the reasons of that further. In acceptance aspects case, there are expressions like “明發吟伐木” and “作詩繼伐木” as acceptance of poem subjects, and also catches expressions like “求友音” and “求友聲” as poetic words. And then when they were missing, recommending, sending and cherishing the memory of friends, they were always reciting the “伐木” poem. They realized “伐木” poem as the work of representing earnest and pure friendship with friends and also considered it as the image, song and meeting of friends. They presented the equal and pure friendship and a friend should be a wise man, as well as the delightful of meeting with friends. Then, the reasons that writers can accept “伐木” poem can be analyzed as the writers regards “友道”(the way of friendship) as important thing and pursuing for it because of the virtue and the goodness of “友道”, consilience role in the five moral disciplines in human relations as well as the independence, equality, faith, loyalty, cooperation and convenience of 友道. Writers considered “伐木” as the symbol of friendship, 求友聲 as symbolic words of “伐木” poem. And also they solved the yearning for friends by reciting the “伐木” poem, at the same time, they enriched the aesthetics of friendship which contributed greatly to its going down to posterity.
