나주 구기촌토광묘로 본 마한 수장

국문 초록

이 연구는 나주 구기촌 토광묘를 통해서 그동안 부재하였던 마한 형성기의 수장 모습을 살펴보았다. 이를 위하여 구기촌유적의 현황을 살펴보고, 분석하여 수장묘를 통해서 드러나는 당대 수장의 새로운 위상과 가치를 설명하고자 하였다. 나주는 영산강을 통해 바다로 이어지는 해양성을 기반으로 고대사회의 중심지로 성장한다. 나주 구 기촌 토광묘는 동일혈연집단의 구성원으로 이루어진 가야산 일대를 아우르는 최고 실력자의 수장집 단의 집단묘이며, 새로운 사회구조로 전환하는 수장의 모습을 반영하고 있다. 부장유물에서는 부장패 턴이 정형화되어가고, 동일혈연집단 내에서 개인성이 심화되고 있음이 확인된다. 철제무기류의 등장 과 복수부장 등을 통해서는 남성성이 강조되는 사회로의 전환이 확인되고, 이것은 동시간대를 기록한 문헌의 전투내용과도 부합되는 바와 같이 사회적 맥락 속에서 (초)개인성과 남성성이 강조되는 사회 구조적 변화를 확인할 수 있다. 나주 구기촌토광묘는 세대적 무덤군으로 당대의 변해가는 사회구조를 경험하고, 부장유물에서는 여러 주변지역과의 교류가 확인되는 바, 영산강유역 내 새로운 가치를 추구하는 수장집단의 출현을 가 져온다. 주변지역과 긴밀한 상호작용을 통해서 정세변화에 대응하고, 당대 최고의 관리물품 중 하나인 철기를 보유하였다. 주변지역과의 교류를 기반으로 집단의 위계와 위상을 강화하여 가야산 일대 중심 정치체로 성장한다.

영문 초록

This study examined the head of Mahan Formation period and foreign exchange through Togwangmyo in Gugichon, Naju. For this purpose, the present condition of Gugi village remains will be examined, and through this, the new status implied in the appearance of the head, the exchange relationship with the surrounding area group, and the literature records will be explained. Naju grows into the center of ancient society based on the maritime nature that leads through the Youngsan River. Naju Gugichon Togwangmyo is a group tomb of the chief of the best group of the best people who cover the Gaya Mountain area consisting of members of the same blood group, and reflects the appearance of the chief who converts into a new social structure. In the director s artifacts, personality deepens within the same group, and social structural changes that emphasize masculinity are confirmed in social contexts, as confirmed in combat records from 1st century BC to 1st century BC. In addition, it shows the possibility that the director of multiple iron weapons has turned into a society where masculinity is emphasized. The Gugi village group is a group that understands and accepts the change due to the spread of the iron culture in the South, and brings about the emergence of a leader group pursuing new values in the Yeongsan River basin. This is through interaction with surrounding areas such as Mangyeong River basin, Northwestern region, Byeon, Jinhan, Gaya, China (Sandong Peninsula), and grasps the change of situation and continuously flows in ironware, one of the best management items of the day. It seems to have grown into a central political body of the Gayasan area in the middle of the Youngsan River based on the Iron Culture, and from the second half of the 1st century BC, it interacted more closely with the local leaders and developed the expansion of the power with the Naju water gates.
