중ㆍ고등학교 특수학급 학생의 진로 및 직업 교육에 대한 부모 인식

국문 초록

본 연구는 중ㆍ고등학교 특수학급의 부모를 대상으로 특수학급 학생의 진로 및 직업 교육에 대한 인식을 살펴보았다. 본 연구를 위하여 특수학급이 있는 17개 학교를 선정하여, 특수학급 교사를 통해 부모 120명에게 설문지를 배부하였고, 이 중 100부의 설문지를 분석 자료로 활용하였다. 연구의 결과, 특수학급의 진로 및 직업 교육에 대한 부모의 이해 정도, 진로와 직업에 대한 의사결정의 의논 상대, 진로 및 직업 교육을 위한 교사의 역할, 진로 및 직업 교육의 시기, 진로 및 직업 교육에 대한 도움 정도, 학교에서 진로 및 직업 교육 개선을 위한 방안, 가정에서 진로 및 직업 교육이 이루어지기 위한 방안에 대한 결과를 제시하였다. 연구 결과를 토대로 장애학생부모의 진로 및 직업적 요구를 파악하여 진로 및 직업교육의 내용을 직업재활 뿐만 아니라 일상생활 및 사회생활에서의 자립으로 확대하는 다양한 연구의 필요성과 가족중심의 진로 및 직업교육 프로그램의 활성화에 관하여 제언하였다.

영문 초록

This study sought to the perception on career and vocational education for students in special classes in middle and high schools from their parents. For this study, the survey was carried to 120 parents in 17 schools which have special classes, and then 100 gathered surveys were used as analyzing materials. In the results of the study, the degree of parents’ understanding about career and vocational education in special classes, the discussion partner for decision of career and vocation, teachers’ role for career and vocational education, the time of career and vocational education, the degree of supports for career and vocational education, the way for improving career and vocational education in schools, and the way to carry out the career and vocational education at home were presented. Finally, for further research, through figuring out the needs regarding career and vocational needs of parents of students with disabilities, the researches of the contents of career and vocational education students with disabilities should be expanded not only vocational rehabilitation but also independence in daily and social life, and the program of family-centered career and vocational education should be invigorated.
