법규위주설계와 성능위주설계에 따른 주방의 감지기 설치개수 비교 분석

국문 초록

이 연구는 주방 화재 시 정온식 스포트형 감지기를 종별로 설치하였을 때 법규위주설계의 감지기 설치개수와 성능위주설계의 감지기 설치개수를 비교하여 법규위주설계에 따른 감지기 설치개수의 적합성을 평가하고자 한다. 주방 화재시 감지기 설치개수를 비교한 결과 정온식 스포트형 특종 감지기와 1종 감지기는 4개, 정온식 스포트형 2종 감지기는 7개를 설치하였을 경우 평가 기준 내에 작동을 하였다. 결과를 토대로 법규위주설계에 의한 감지기 설치 개수는 정온식 스포트형 특종 감지기와 1종 감지기는 최소 1개, 정온식 스포트형 2종 감지기는 3개임을 알 수 있다. 이에 반해 성능위주설계의 평가 기준에 따른 감지기 설치개수는 정온식 스포트형 특종과 1종은 4개, 2종은 7개를 설치하여야 평가 기준의 감지기 작동개시 시간 내에 감지기가 작동하는 것을 확인할 수 있었다. 따라서 주방에 있어서 기존의 법규위주설계의 감지기 설치개수는 화재를 신속하게 감지하는데 한계가 있음을 알 수 있다. 다시 말해 법규위주설계에 따라 감지기를 설치한다면 화재를 감지하는데 시간이 지체되어 초기소화에 실패할 가능성이 높은 것으로 판단된다.

영문 초록

This study aimed to evaluate the aptness of the number of different types of heat detectors for fire in a kitchen installed by comparing different numbers of spot-type fixed-temperature heat detectors in legally required design and performance-focused designs. Comparing different numbers of different sets of heat detectors, this study found that the combination of four type special of spot type fixed temperature heat detector and 4 Type 1 of spot type fixed temperature heat detector and 7 Type 2 of spot type fixed temperature heat detector satisfied the evaluation requirements. Based on the test results, this study found that, to satisfy the legal requirements for fire detection in a kitchen, we need at least one type of special spot type fixed temperature heat detector and one type 1 spot type fixed temperature heat detector and three Type 2 spot type fixed temperature heat detectors. In contrast, this study found that, to satisfy the performance-focused design, we need a combination of 4 Type special spot-type fixed-temperature heat detector and 4 Type 1 spot type fixed temperature heat detectors and 7 Type 2 spot type fixed temperature heat detectors. Accordingly, we can find that there are problems with the legally required number of fire detectors to detect fire in the kitchen. In other words, if we install the number of fire detectors required by legal regulations, we may fail to detect fire quickly enough and extinguish fire in the early stage.
