국문 초록

매력 있는 우리 문화란 세계와 대등한 문화, 독특한 한국의 것을 가지고 있는 문화라고 인식할 때에만 가능하다. 전통문화의 소중함과 그 보존 전승의 심각성을 여기에서 찾을 수 있는 것이다. 그리고 이를 깨닫고 실시한 제도가 인간문화재제도(人間文化財制度)라고 할 수 있다. 그러나 긍정적인 면과 함께 이 제도가 실시되면서 나타난 부작용도 헤아릴 수 없이 많았다. 그 부작용은 본래의 제도 실시 취지를 어그러뜨릴 만큼 심각하게 나타나고 있다. 본 논의는 그런 점을 아울러 생각하면서 우리의 문화의 보존과 교육을 생각해 보았다. 무형문화재 제도는 현대화의 영향으로 사라져가고 있는 전통문화를 보존·전승하기 위하여 문화재보호법을 통하여 법으로 보장하고 있는 제도이다. 전통문화를 화석화한 골동품으로, 그리하여 자생력을 상실한 것으로 보는 이러한 인식은 전통문화의 변질을 막고, 그 원형의 모습을 후세에게 전하는 효과를 기대할 수 있다. 그러나 전통문화는 박물관의 진열장에 놓인 골동품이 아니다. 그렇게 만들었다면 거기에서 꺼내어 갈고 닦아 이 시대에도 효용성이 있음을 보여주어야 한다. 판소리의 경우 다양한 유파와 제를 인정하여 복수로 지정하는 방법이 필요하다. 전통예술을 전승하는 공교육제도의 확립은 더욱 시급한 일이다. 그 필요성을 성찰하고 널리 확산(擴散)하는 작업이야말로 이 시대의 문화와 국가의 미래를 생각하는 사람들의 책무라고 할 수 있다.

영문 초록

Our attractive culture is possible only when we recognize that it is a culture that is comparable to the world and that has a unique Korean. The importance of traditional culture and the seriousness of its preservation tradition can be found here. And the system implemented after realizing this can be said to be the human cultural property system. However, along with the positive aspects, the side effects of this system were innumerable. The side effects are serious enough to distort the purpose of the original system. With this in mind, this discussion considered preservation and education of our culture. The intangible cultural property system is a system guaranteed by law through the Cultural Property Protection Act in order to preserve and transmit the traditional culture that is disappearing under the influence of modernization. This perception of traditional culture as fossilized antiques and thus loss of self-sufficiency prevents the deterioration of traditional culture and can be expected to have the effect of conveying its original form to posterity. However, traditional culture is not an antique placed on the showcase of a museum. If so, then you have to take it out, grind it, and show it s utility in this era. In the case of Pansori, there is a need for a method of recognizing various schools and festivals and designating them as plural. It is more urgent to establish a public education system that transmits traditional arts. It is the responsibility of those who think about the necessity of the culture and the future of the country to reflect on its necessity and spread it widely.
