국문 초록

본 연구는 스마트교육에 활용할 수 있는 공간정보 콘텐츠를 개발하고, 이를 활용하는데 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 태블릿 컴퓨터와 HTML5, 증강현실(AR), 구글어스를 사용하여 공간정보 콘텐츠를 개발하고, 전자책의 형태로 재구성하여 스마트교육 환경이 구축된 학교 현장에서 사용할 수 있도록 하였다. 또한 본 연구를 통해 개발된 공간정보 콘텐츠가 시사하는 바에 대해서 탐색하였다. 본 연구는 이러한 연구 결과를 바탕으로 초중등 사회과를 대상으로 전자교과서(전자책)와 연관하여 적용할 수 있는 공간 정보를 활용한 디지털 콘텐츠 개발 사례를 제시하였다. 이는 앞으로 제기되는 창의적으로 비판적인 사고력 기반의 문제해결 능력의 교실 수업 적용과 디지털 콘텐츠와의 연결 측면에서 사회과 수업에 기여할 것으로 기대된다.

영문 초록

The development of ICT and the emergence of Smart Device already had several educational effects on educational environments and learning approaches. In this circumstance, learners can collect adequate information at any time and any place, and can implement collective intelligence through interactive communication regardless of temporal and spatial limits. The concept of SMART Education is still in the process of being defined and developed. Although the SMART Education environment is being built in school, there is little research progress in the development of applicable contents. Therefore, this study aims to develop spatial information contents applicable to geographic education in the category of SMART Education and to find an adequate application perspectives. This paper also presents several examples of spatial data contents used by Google Earth, Web-based GIS, and Augemented Reality-based 3D model.. These outcomes are also developed for e-Textbook contents such as iBook Author. In conclusion, for further research activities, this paper is expected to produce actual spatial contents for SMART education in order to improve georaphical learning and teaching purposes in classroom level.
