국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 웹소설 각색 웹드라마의 선택요인을 알아보는 데 있다 . 이를 위하여 주관성 분석에 유용한 Q 방법론을 적용하여 중국인 유학생을 대상으로 조사를 수행했다. 조사결과, 중국 웹소설 각색 웹드라마의 선택요인은 ‘콘텐츠지향’, ‘매체추천 지향’, ‘원작지향’ 등이었다. 유형1(콘텐츠 지향)은 스토리에 기반을 두고 작품을 선택하는 유형이다. 이 유형은 작품의 내용을 중시하면서, 좋은 스토리텔링이 시청률을 이끈다고 인식하였다. 가장 많은 수의 응답자들이 포함되었으며 대체로 스릴러물을 선호하는 스타일이다. 유형2(매체추천 지향)는 SNS, 언론, 주변인 등 온라인 및 오프라인 미디어의 추천에 기반을 두고 작품을 선택하는 유형이다. 이들은 다른 사람들과 소통하는 것을 선호하며 미디어의 추천을 중시하고 신뢰하는 유형이다. 여성들이 두드러졌으며 특정 장르에 관계없이 다양한 장르를 선호한다. 유형3(원작 지향)은 원작 활용 여부를 중시하면서 작품을 선택하는 유형이다. 남녀 수용자들이 고루 분포되었으며 애정물을 선호하는 스타일이다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to find out the factors to select web dramas dramatizing web novels. To fulfill this purpose, Q methodology which is useful for subjective analysis was applied and Chinese students studying in Korea were subjected to this study. Based on the results, the factors of selection of web dramas dramatizing Chinese web novels were ‘contents-oriented’, ‘media recommendation-oriented’ and ‘original work-oriented’, etc. Type 1 (contents-oriented) is to select a work of art based on the story. This type prioritizes the contents of a work of art and recognizes that good storytelling leads to higher viewer ratings. This was the case answered by the largest number of survey participants who mostly prefer thrillers. Type 2 (media recommendation-oriented) selects a work of art based on online and offline media recommendations from SNS, the press and acquaintances. They prefer to communicate with others and prioritize and trust media recommendation. For this type, women who prefer various genres were prominent. Type 3 (original work-oriented) prioritizes usage of originals when selecting a work of art. This type was widely and evenly selected by men and women who prefer love stories.
