북한의 국어교육 및 수업의 현상학적 재구성

국문 초록

남과 북은 동일한 한글을 사용하고 있지만, 오랜 시간 지속된 분단과 서로 다른 체제에서 기인한 이념적 대립으로 인해 원활한 의사소통에 어려움을 느낄 만큼 많은 언어 차이를 보이고 있다. 이러한 언어적 차이는 시간이 지날수록 일상적인 교육 현장을 통해 재생산되고 고착화 된다. 통일을 대비한 남북한 국어교육의 방향성 구축을 위해서는 북한 국어교육의 실상을 아는 것이 선행되어야 한다는 문제의식 하에 본 연구에서는 북한의 국어교육과 2013년 개정된 고급중학교 1학년 『국어문학』을 중심으로 교육목표와 내용, 실제 교육현장의 교수형태 등을 분석하고자 한다. 특히 본 고에서는 하나의 사례로 <4. 애국의 숨결> 단원의 일부 수업을 교원출신 탈북민과의 심층면접을 통해 현상학적으로 재구성하고자 한다. 이 연구가 남북한의 언어적 동질성 회복을 위한 통일 이후 국어교육의 청사진을 그리는 데 도움이 되기를 바란다.

영문 초록

Although the South and North Korea use the same Hangeul, there are so many language differences that it is difficult to communicate smoothly due to the long-standing division and ideological confrontation caused by different systems. As time goes by, these linguistic differences are reproduced and fixed through every day school education field. With the awareness that it is necessary to know the reality of North Korean language education in order to establish the direction of Korean language education in North and South Korea in preparation for unification, this study focuses on Korean language education in North Korea and the first grade of high school, 『Korean Literature』, which was revised in 2013. It aims to analyze the goals and contents, and the form of teaching in the actual educational field. In particular, the study aims to reconstruct some of the classes in the <4. Breath of Patriotism> section through in-depth interviews with North Korean defectors who are former teachers. It is hoped that this study will help to draw a blueprint for Korean language education after unification for the restoration of linguistic homogeneity between the two Koreas.
