국문 초록

본 연구에서는 비수도권에서 수도권으로의 인적자원의 이동으로 확인될 수 있는 대학진학과 거주지역의 선택에 대하여 시기별 비교연구를 진행하고자 하였다. 수도권으로의 인구이동의 경향은 순이동자수의 증감으로 살펴볼 수 있는데, 과거의 급격한 증가 현상은 최근에는 점차 완화되는 추이를 보이고 있다. 다만, 인적자원 측면에서의 수도권으로 한 사람들은 여전히 경쟁력 있는 자원의 이동으로 볼 수 있다. 이와 같은 수도권 순이동자 수의 변화와 함께 대학이 가진 인구유인의 기능을 시기별로 살펴봄으로써 수도권의 인적자원 집중현상을 확인하고자 하였다.

영문 초록

In recent years, the population migration of Seoul Metropolitan Area are increasing net-outflows more than net-inflows. This phenomenon can be interpreted as the concentration of human resources into the Seoul Metropolitan Area is weakening. But, it was not confirmed whether the effects of the university’s population incentives were weakened. The purpose of this study is investigate the effect of university human resource imbalance in the region by examining the migration of the university entrance population between SMA and non-SMA. Using the Korea Labor & Income Panel data, we examined the effect of university incentives of the human resource imbalance between the SMA and non-SMA. Empirical result is showed that in the case of universities located in the SMA, the effect of population attraction is not changed, but, in case of non-SMA, the effect of population incentives was found to decrease.
