자유놀이시간 언어적 계획ㆍ평가(VPE)가 유아의 자기조절력과 또래유능성에 미치는 영향

국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 언어적 계획ㆍ평가(VPE) 활용이 유아의 자기조절력 및 또래유능성에 미치는 영향을 알아보는 데 목적이 있다. 본 연구에서 언어적 계획ㆍ평가(VPE)의 효과를 검증하기 위해, 경기도에 소재한 어린이집의 만4-5세의 유아를 본 연구의 대상으로 선정하여 유아의 자기조절력과 또래유능성을 측정하였다. 수집된 자료는 IBM SPSS 25.0을 활용하였고, 연구대상의 일반적 특성을 파악하고, 분석을 실시하였다. 본 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 언어적 계획ㆍ평가(VPE)은 자기조절력의 하위 요소인 ‘정서조절’, ‘인지조절’ 능력 향상에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 언어적 계획ㆍ평가(VPE)은 또래유능성의 하위요인인 ‘사회성’, ‘친사회성’, ‘주도성’ 능력향상에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 결과는 언어적 계획ㆍ평가(VPE)가 유아 스스로 선택하고 실행하는 놀이 활동을 회상하며 평가하는 과정에 교사와 언어적 상호작용을 통해 유아의 자기조절 능력을 증진에 긍정적인 영향을 줄 수 있음을 시사하고, 언어적 계획ㆍ평가(VPE) 활용에 교사-유아 간 상호작용이 유아의 또래유능성 향상에 영향력을 미치는 요소임을 알 수 있었다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to find out the impact of the use of verbal planning and evaluation (VPE) on the self-regulation and peer competence of infants. The research problems established based on the research objectives are as follows. First, we identify the effect of verbal planning and evaluation (VPE) on self-regulation ability. Second, we identify the impact of verbal planning and evaluation (VPE) on peer competence. In order to verify the effectiveness of verbal planning and evaluation (VPE) in this study, infants aged 4-5 years of age at daycare centers in Gyeonggi-do were selected as subjects of this study. The results of this study are as follows. First, the impact of verbal planning and evaluation (VPE) on infants self-regulation has been shown to affect the improvement of their emotional control and cognitive control abilities, which are sub-factors of self-regulation. Second, the impact of verbal planning and evaluation (VPE) on improving peer competence in infants was found to have an impact on improving peer competence, which is a subfactor of peer competence, such as sociality, pro-sociality, and directedness. This allowed infants to adjust their opinions and control their emotions in the process of communicating with their peers, and showed that teacher-infant interaction was an influential factor in the use of verbal planning and evaluation (VPE).
