유아의 애착안정성, 어머니의 양육태도와 의사소통이 유아의 스마트폰 사용에 미치는 영향

국문 초록

본 연구는 유아의 애착안정성, 어머니의 양육태도와 의사소통이 유아의 스마트폰에 미치는 영향을 알아보고자 수행되었다. 이를 위해 본 연구는 경기도 내에 소재한 8개소의 어린이집의 만1세에서 만5세 영유아 어머니 176명을 대상으로 온라인 설문지를 통해 자료를 수집하였다. 수집된 자료들은 IBM SPSS 25.0 통계 프로그램을 사용하여 분석하였다. 본 연구의 주요 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 자녀의 애착안정성이 높을수록 스마트폰 과다사용이 줄어드는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 어머니의 양육태도와 유아의 스마트폰 사용의 관계에서 어머니의 온정적 양육태도는 유의한 부적인 영향을 주었으나, 어머니의 통제적 양육태도는 유의하지 않았다. 셋째, 어머니의 의사소통 수준이 높을수록 자녀의 스마트폰 과다사용은 낮아지는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구는 유아의 스마트폰 과다사용에서 어머니와의 애착과 의사소통이 유의하게 관계된 것으로 나타나 스마트폰 사용에서 어머니 관련 변인의 중요성을 확인하였다는 점에서 특히 의의가 있다. 이러한 본 연구의 결과를 관련 선행의 연구에 비추어 논의하고 추후 연구 방향을 제시하였으며, 부모가 유아의 스마트폰 사용을 지도하는 방안을 제안하였다.

영문 초록

This study was conducted by using the first and second Naver online questionnaire surveys for two weeks from January 18 and from April 5 to 16, 2021, targeting mothers of children aged 1 to 5 at 8 daycare centers located in Gyeonggi-do. The collected data were subjected to frequency analysis, descriptive statistical analysis, Pearson s correlation analysis, and regression analysis The main results according to the problems of this study are as follows. First, it was found that there was a significant negative correlation between children s attachment security with their mother and smartphone overuse. Second, in the relationship between the mother s parenting attitude and the child s smartphone use, the mother s warm parenting attitude showed a significant negative correlation. Third, there was a significant negative correlation between mother s communication and child s smartphone use, indicating that the higher the mother s communication level, the lower the child s smartphone overuse. According to the results of this study, we compared and discussed the results of previous studies, suggested future research directions, and suggested desirable directions for guiding young children s smartphone use.
