대학입시에 대한 교사가치관 인식에 관한 연구

국문 초록

본 연구는 우리나라의 대학입시 과열경쟁 상황에서 교사들의 대학입시에 대한 가치관 인식을 탐색하고, 이를 공립학교, 종립학교, 기독교 대안학교로 분류하여 비교 분석하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 서울, 경기, 충청, 경남, 전라, 강원, 제주지역에 위치한 고등학교 교사 348(남 184명, 여 164명)을 대상으로 설문지를 통해 자료를 수집하였다, 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 교사들이 대학입시에 고려하는 요인은 공립학교와 기독교 대안학교 교사들 간에 통계학적인 유의미한 차이가 있었다. 공립학교 교사들은 대학지명도 및 취업가능학교를 입시지도 고려요인으로 생각하는 반면, 대안학교 교사들은 재능 및 은사에 맞는 학과를 입시지도 고려요인으로 인식하는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 학생들이 대학입시에 고려해야하는 요인에서 기독교 대안학교 교사들은 공립학교 및 종립학교 교사들과는 다르게 학생들이 개인의 소명 발견을 위해 입시를 준비하도록 인식하는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 학교가 대학입시에 고려해야하는 요인에서 대안학교 교사들은 ‘재능 및 은사 관점의 진로선택’과 ‘기독교세계관에 입각한 입시지도’ 그리고 ‘하나님나라 관점의 진로지도’에서 공립학교와 종립학교 교사들과 비교해 유의미한 차이를 보였다. 넷째, 학교가 제공하는 교사 입시교육에 대해서 기독교 대안학교 교사들은 ‘기독교세계관 준비방법’에 있어서 공립학교와 종립학교들과 유의미한 차이가 있었다. 다섯째, 교육목적에 있어서 기독교대안학교와 종립학교 교사들은 ‘기독전문인양성’에서 공립학교 교사들과 차이가 있었다. 여섯째, 출세와 성공에 대해서 공립학교 교사들은 돈, 부모, 학벌 순으로 그 중요성을 인식하는 것으로 나타났으나 종립학교와 기독교 대안학교 교사들은 가치관(세계관), 부모, 돈, 학벌 순으로 나타났다. 일곱째, 교사들의 만족도는 기독교 대안학교 교사들이 공립학교와 종립학교 교사들의 만족도 보다 높고 유의미한 차이가 있었다. 이러한 연구결과를 바탕으로 대학입시에 대한 교사가치관에 대한 시사점을 제시하였다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to investigate the differences in the perceptions of college entrance among public, religious, and alternative schools. This research examines 348 high school teachers’ values of college entrances in South Korea. As a result, this research found that there were differences among public schools, religious schools, and Christian alternative schools. This research found that Christian alternative schools focused on vocational purposes more than public and religious schools. While teachers in public schools showed more interest in ‘college reputation’ and ‘college for employment’ as a guide for college choice, teachers in Christian alternative schools presented more importance in students’ ‘potentiality and talents applied to their major in college’. Regarding educational purposes, teachers in both Christian alternative and religious schools emphasized ‘raising virtuous humans’ and ‘cultivating men of talents for the nation’. While public school teachers displayed ‘college graduate’, ‘economic power’, and ‘parents’ background’ as successful priorities, Christian alternative and religious school teachers showed more concern for ‘value of world viewpoint’ and ‘religious viewpoint’ as successful priorities. Whereas public and religious schools emphasized ‘college entrance ratios’, Christian alternative school teachers showed ‘educational perception and world viewpoints’ as their values for students’ entering college. Christian alternative school teachers focused on ‘personal vocation findings’, and the results were statistically different between schools. On the other hand, there were no differences among any types of schools in terms of ‘superiority’, ‘professionality’, ‘contribution to nation’, and ‘self-achievement’ for the purpose of education. However, Christian alternative school teachers concentrated on bringing up students as truly faithful and professional Christians.
