교회학교 교사교육에 대한 통전적인 접근

국문 초록

본 연구는 한국교회가 현재 직면한 여러 도전과 위기에 대한 해결책은 장기적으로 성숙한 교회교육에 달려 있으며, 이는 통전적인 방향을 지향하는 교회학교 교사교육과 직결되어 있다는 전제에서 시작한다. 통전적인 교사교육을 제안하기 위하여 본 연구는 먼저 교회학교 교사교육에 관한 세 가지 선행연구를 살펴보고 이를 통하여 나타난 1) 파편화, 2) 분리, 3) 단편성, 4) 수동성, 5) 일방성 등과 같은 문제점들을 제시한다. 그리고 이에 대한 대안적 형태의 통전적인 교사교육을 모색하는 과정에서 지휘자(conductor) 이미지에 터하여 전문성, 영성, 리더십이 조화를 이룬 교사교육을 제안한다. 보다 구체적으로, 통전적인 모델의 교사교육을 위하여 1) 전인성의 원리, 2) 자기주도성의 원리, 3) 평생 교육의 원리, 4) 통합성의 원리, 5) 참여의 원리, 6) 연계성의 원리, 7) 균형의 원리, 8) 대화의 원리를 제안한다. 그리고 이러한 원리들에 기초하여 1) 교사교육의 형태, 2) 교사교육의 내용(교육과정), 3) 교사교육 방법론, 4) 교사교육 행정, 5) 교사교육과 목회 등의 주제를 중심으로 통전적인 교사교육을 구성해 나가는 방안을 제시한다.

영문 초록

This study begins with the strong belief that various challenges and crises of the current Korean church can find a solution from an alternative model of church education, especially from a holistic form of church school teachers’ education. In the process of seeking the holistic model of teachers’ education, this article examines three representative studies on the teachers’ education, and points out main problematics such as the phenomena of fragmentation, separation, fraction, passivity, and unilaterality found in the current teachers’ education. To construct a holistic form of teachers’ education, this study seeks a model of education based on the image of the teacher as a conductor who possesses professionality, spirituality, and leadership simultaneously. In specific, this study presents the integrating principle, self-directing principle, lifelong principle, uniting principle, participatory principle, connecting principle, balancing principle, and dialogical principle as ways to construct the holistic form of teachers’ education. Rooted in these seven principles, the last section proposes the holistic form of teachers’ education that focuses on the following aspects: form, contents/curriculum, teaching-learning methods, administration, and ministry.
