부, 모에 대한 불안정 애착과 외상 후 성장의 관계에서 지각된 사회적 지지와 자기자비의 이중 매개 효과

국문 초록

본 연구는 어린 시절 부,모에 대한 불안정 애착과 외상 후 성장의 관계에서 지각된 사회적 지지와 자기자비가 이중매개효과를 가지는지 살펴보고자 하였다. 이를 위해 본 연구에서는 초기 부모 애착 척도, 지각된 사회적 지지 척도, 한국판 자기자비 척도, 외상 후 성장 척도를 이용하였고, 2019년 6월 13일부터 8월 9일까지 30~60대 성인 남녀를 대상으로 눈덩이 표집 설문조사를 실시하였다. 336명의 자료를 상관분석한 결과, 첫째, 부,모에 대한 회피애착은 지각된 사회적 지지와 부적 상관(부-회피, 모-회피 r=-.287, p<.01)을 보였으며, 부,모에 대한 불안 애착과 회피 애착 모두 자기자비와 부적 상관(모-불안 r=-.250 p<.01, 모-회피 r=-.113 p<.05, 부-불안 r=-.176 p<.01, 부-회피 r=-.183 p<.01)이 있는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 부에 대한 회피애착은 외상 후 성장과 부적 상관(r=-.169 p<.01)을 보였다. 둘째 PROCESS macro를 이용해 부,모에 대한 불안정 애착과 외상 후 성장의 관계에서 지각된 사회적 지지와 자기자비의 매개효과를 살펴본 결과, 부, 모에 대한 불안애착과 외상 후 성장의 관계에서는 자기자비의 매개효과(모-불안 B=-.1326, 부-불안 B=-.0961)만 유의하였으며, 부,모에 대한 회피애착과 외상 후 성장의 관계에서는 지각된 사회적 지지의 매개효과(모-회피 B=-.1472, 부-회피 B=-.1341) 및 지각된 사회적 지지와 자기자비의 이중매개효과(모-회피 B=-.0497, 부-회피 B=-.0440)가 유의한 것으로 나타났다. 그리고 부,모에 대한 불안애착과 외상 후 성장의 관계에서는 자기자비의 억제효과가, 모에 대한 회피애착과 외상 후 성장의 관계에서는 지각된 사회적 지지와 자기자비의 억제효과가 시사되었다. 이러한 결과는 모와 부, 불안, 회피 애착에 따라 다른 치료적 개입이 필요할 수 있음을 시사하고, 애착유형에 따라 외상 후 성장을 위해 중점을 두어야 하는 심리적 요인을 탐색해 개입의 초점을 구체적으로 제시하였다는 점에서 의의가 있다.

영문 초록

This study was designed to clarify whether perceived social support and self-compassion had a mediating effect on the relationship between unstable attachment and post-traumatic growth. The study subjects were 336 men and women in their 30s to 60s. They answered Early Parental Attachment Scale, Perceived Social Support Scale, Self-compassion Scale, and Post traumatic Growth Inventory. The data were analyzed using the PROCESS macro. The results are as follows: avoidant attachment has significant negative correlation with perceived social support. Anxious/avoidant attachment have significant negative correlation with self-compassion and avoidant attachment to father has negative correlation with post-traumatic growth. In the mediation analyses with bootstrapping, self-compassion mediated the relationship between anxious attachment and post-traumatic growth, whereas perceived social support alone, perceived social support and self-compassion together mediated the relationship between avoidant attachment and post-traumatic growth. Mother-Anxiety Attachment, Mother-avoidance attachment and father-anxiety attachment had a suppression effect. The significance of this study revealed that perceived social support and self-compassion depending on the property of unstable attachment to father and mother, differently serve as a suppress effect or mediate effect of unstable attachment on post-traumatic growth. These results provide implications for therapeutic intervention in people with attachment trauma. And It is meaningful in that it specifically suggested the focus of the intervention by exploring the psychological factors that should be focused on for post-traumatic growth according to the attachment type.
