체코어 관용어의 변화 양상에 관한 연구

국문 초록

조어법이나 통사구조 그리고 의미해석 측면에서 일반적인 언어 단위들과는 다른 특이한 언어적 속성을 보이는 관습적으로 사용되는 언어표현들, 즉 관용어에 대한 언어학 연구의 역사는 매우 짧다. 그러나 현대 언어학에서 어휘론의 언어이론이 발달하고 외국어 습득이론에서 관용어가 차지하는 의의와 비중이 커지면서 관용어에 대한 연구가 활발해지고 있다. 특히 ‘외국어로서의 체코어’에 관한 교수법적 관점에서 체코어 관용어의 체계적인 학습은 효과적인 언어 습득에 기여할 뿐만 아니라 체코공화국에 대한 사회-문화적 역량(sociocultural competence)을 증진시키는 이점이 있다. 본고는 현대체코어의 관용어가 보이는 변화적 양상에 대해 연구함에 있어 모국어 화자의 관용어 사용에 나타난 두 가지 경향인 고어화와 최신화에 대해 논의하고자 한다.

영문 초록

The study of phraseology such as linguistic discipline of conventionalized expressions shows relatively short history mainly due to their idiosyncratic properties. Nevertheless, as modern, general linguistic theories of lexicology have developed and the crucial importance of phraseology has been emphasized in the area of language acquisition, the interest of Czech linguists in the study of phraseology increases. A linguistic approach to Czech is well known as a phraseological language, in other words, a language of rich idiomatic expressions is very important even in terms of phraseodidactics of Czech as a foreign language. For foreign language learners of Czech, a systematic linguistic discipline of idioms licenses a high level of language skill, and enhances the advantage of better building of sociocultural competence of Czech Republic. This study investigates the aspect of the recent changes in Czech phraseology. It focuses on both archaic and actualized tendency of Czech phrases and idioms, and in this respect, some decisive motives for the changes in the specific forms and meanings of the phraseology will be discussed.
