청소년의 자아개념과 성취동기가 능동지연행동에 미치는 영향

국문 초록

본 연구에서는 청소년들의 학업성취, 학습과 태도 등을 스스로 관리할 수 있도록 하는데에는 능동지연행동이 중요하다는 점에 초점을 두고, 청소년의 자아개념과 성취동기가 능동지연행동에 어떤 영향을 미치는지를 확인하는 데 연구의 목적을 두었다. 이에 따라 중학생 280명을 대상으로 자아개념, 성취동기와 능동지연행동을 조사하여 분석하였다. 본 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 청소년의 성취동기와 능동지연행동간에 정적상관관계가 있으므로, 성취동기가 향상되면 능동지연행동도 향상된다는 것이 확인되었다. 둘째, 자아개념의 하위요인 중에 인지적 자아는 능동지연행동에 영향을 미친다는 것이 확인되었다. 셋째, 성취동기는 능동지연행동에 영향을 미치는 변인이었으며, 특히 자신감이 능동지연행동에 영향을 미친다는 것을 알 수 있었다. 이와 같이 청소년의 성취동기와 인지적 자아개념이 능동지연행동에 영향을 미치는 변인이라는 것이 확인되었으므로, 영재와 일반 청소년들의 학업성취와 긍정적인 태도를 향상시키기 위해서 성취동기와 자신감, 자아개념과 인지적 자아를 고려해야 할 것이라는 시사점을 줄 수 있다. 또한 이와 같은 본 연구의 결과를 중학생의 진로지도 및 생활 상담 등에 활용할 수 있을 것이다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to identify how adolescent s Self-concept and Achievement Motivation af ect Active Procrastination Behavior, and to confirm the cor elations and influences betwe n adolescent s Self-concept, Achievement Motivation, and Active Procrastination Behavior variables. The result of the study are as fol ows. First, there was a positive cor elation betwe n the achievement motivation and active procrastination behavior. Therefore when the achievement motivation improves the active procrastination behavior can also improve. Second, ac ording to the result of the influence relation that self-concept has on active procrastination behavior there was no influence relation on the other factors except for the cognitive self. Third, achievement motivation was the variable that influenced active procrastination behavior. Especial y, it was identified that confidence influences active procrastination behavior. Like this, when the results of the study is used for care r guidance and life counsel to the adolescent it wil be helpful to the school counsel and life guidance.
